The legendary Jim Ross has undergone successful brain surgery.
Back in July, AEW commentator Jim Ross revealed that he was preparing to undergo brain surgery. The news came soon after the legendary star had finished a 40-day hospital stay, during which he experienced memory loss and balance problems.
When thanking fans for their support ahead of the procedure, Ross explained that it would see surgeons drill a hole in his skull and insert a small tube which would reach into his stomach. This is to better manage and drain excess brain fluid.
Now, Conrad Thompson, who co-hosts Grilling JR, says JR’s daughter has informed him that the operation was a success, and Ross is expected to be home by Friday, August 14th.

Jim Ross has previously said he hopes to recover in time to travel to London for AEW All In, which takes place on August 30th at Wembley Stadium.
Jim Ross Believes Vince McMahon Will Return To Wrestling Business
With the conclusion of Vince McMahon’s legal dispute with Janel Grant, Jim Ross thinks the former WWE Chairman will return to the wrestling business. Ross doesn’t think McMahon is “out of the game” and will have something to do with wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer even went as far as suggesting McMahon purchasing TNA isn’t out of the question.
