A WWE Hall of Famer believes Vince McMahon is unlikely to stay away from the wrestling business despite the former WWE Chairman’s legal dispute with Janel Grant having been settled.
Speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross admitted he was relieved to see the case move towards a conclusion after months of coverage.
“Well, I thought it was inevitable it would come sooner than later. Quite honestly, I’m kind of glad that it’s over. I got tired of reading about it, hearing about it, talking about it. So, you know, we’ll see what the endgame will be, but you can bet your ass big money is exchanging hands between WWE and Janel Grant.”
Ross then shared his thoughts on what Vince McMahon could do next, suggesting he expects the 80-year-old to remain involved in professional wrestling in some capacity.
“Vince isn’t out of the game. That’s just not his makeup. So, what he’s going to do, one would assume, will have maybe some things to do with wrestling because that’s where he made his way. So, I don’t know, man. The world’s open to him. I just don’t think a lot of things interest him. He likes wrestling, and I think that’s where I’d see him headed.”

Jim Ross was also asked whether Vince McMahon could potentially purchase TNA Wrestling and acknowledged it was a possibility, noting McMahon has the financial resources to pursue any opportunity he chooses.
“That’s possible. Money won’t be an object. You know, he’s got the cash to do whatever the hell he wants, at least that’s what I think.”
However, Ross dismissed the idea of McMahon buying AEW, stating he does not believe Tony Khan would have any interest in selling the promotion.
While Ross expects McMahon to remain connected to the wrestling industry in some form, he did not suggest he had any knowledge of the former WWE Chairman’s future plans.
