Janel Grant has dropped her case against Vince McMahon.
In a filing with the court today, Grant dismissed her case with “prejudice” meaning that she has permanently closed in that court and cannot refile the same claims but she is pursuing the allegations in arbitration.
So, even though the federal case is closed the legal dispute isn’t because both sides retain the right to continue it in arbitration.
As was reported weeks ago, the case is heading towards private arbitration, the public most likely will never be informed of the exact outcome or the details.
Janel Grant had filed a civil lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis alleging sexual assault, sexual abuse, trafficking and other misconduct during her time working for WWE.
McMahon and Laurinaitis have denied the allegations.
