Stephanie McMahon says she is still coming to terms with being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, calling it the biggest honour of her career.
Speaking on her What’s Your Story? podcast, where she was interviewed by her husband, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon admitted the moment still feels surreal.
“My God, it feels… it’s such an honour. And I’m so grateful. It’s the biggest, I never, ever imagined it. And it’s just the biggest thing ever in my career. And I’m really proud,” she said.
McMahon also addressed whether she feels worthy of the induction, explaining that while she may not frame it that way, she is embracing the moment.
“I don’t know that worthy is a word I would use. But I definitely am accepting and I’m in such a great place and I’m so excited and I’m just so grateful,” she said, adding that WWE has been her life and she remains thankful for the experiences and people she has shared it with.
She revealed that her induction speech has come together gradually, as memories continue to return throughout the process. McMahon also noted that WWE staff have found it difficult to condense her career into a short video package, given her decades-long involvement in the company.
Triple H Praised Stephanie McMahon For Everything She Has Done For The Wrestling Business
Toward the end of the interview, Triple H became emotional while discussing Stephanie McMahon’s impact, praising her contributions behind the scenes and her role in shaping WWE’s culture.
“Very few people change the business,” he said. “You put the culture in what we do.”
The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place this week in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 42 weekend, with McMahon headlining a class that also includes AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, Sid Vicious and Bad News Brown.
