During a recent podcast appearance with Figheel, Shawn Ng and the KWK creative team, including their sculptor and painter, revealed some big news and announcements about the future of the KWK Kayfabe Heroes line of retro wrestling figures.

Some of the highlights were that they’re in the process of expanding their distribution network, and are now open to more store owners and eBay sellers, for which they’re currently accepting applications. They’re also working on a new production model and pricing, with future KWK figures costing $15.99 (USD) for pre-orders and $18.99 after pre-order, which is a significant drop from their current prices, although it was clarified that at this lower price, there will be no accessories included, like we’ve seen with their previous figures.

As for future KWK wrestling figure release news, Ng announced they will produce an official Ox Baker figure, with four possible variants, as well as a Berzerker figure, with two variants.

One special surprise guest was Barry Horowitz, who will be receiving a KWK Kayfabe Heroes figure. The Horowitz figure will have four variants featuring his unique, iconic look, including his suspenders, Star of David, hand pat symbol, and lime green colorway.

Horowitz said he’s glad to be associated with the professionalism of KWK after dealing with other toy companies in the past, who he wouldn’t specifically name.

The other special live guest was Paul Diamond, who’s KWK Komet Kid figure topped many best figure of the year lists in 2024. KWK is rereleasing a figure for Diamond, but this time under the Max Moon name.

Diamond revealed during his interview that his wife has cancer, and part of the reason for the Komet Kid/Max Moon figure release is to help raise money for her treatment.

You can currently pre-order the KWK Max Moon figure from the following retailers, and proceeds will go to Paul Diamond’s wife’s cancer treatment (prices may vary due to import tariffs and taxes).
