WWE Raw opened with chaos, closed with chaos, and spent three hours escalating nearly every major rivalry on the red brand as Roman Reigns accepted Jacob Fatu’s Tribal Combat challenge, Brock Lesnar returned to destroy Oba Femi, and Seth Rollins finally wrestled his first Raw match in nine months.
The show heavily built toward both Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash in Italy, with several matches officially announced and multiple storylines taking dramatic turns before the night ended in complete chaos around Rollins and Bron Breakker.
Raw kicked off with a video package recapping last week’s confrontation between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu before cameras followed Reigns arriving backstage at the First Horizon Coliseum.
Adam Pearce attempted to stop Reigns from heading to the ring, warning him that management wanted things handled differently this week. Reigns ignored him.
Instead, Fatu made his way to the ring first and demanded that Reigns meet him face-to-face. Before Reigns appeared, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso interrupted, carrying a steel chair.
Jimmy accused Fatu of betraying the family by refusing to acknowledge Reigns following Backlash. He warned Fatu that his actions would get him fired from WWE, but Fatu immediately exploded into violence by attacking both Usos.
Jey smashed the chair across Fatu’s back, but the Samoan Werewolf barely reacted and continued choking both brothers with the Tongan Death Grip.
Reigns finally stormed to the ring and immediately brawled with Fatu. The Usos joined the fight and eventually overwhelmed Fatu with repeated superkicks, Superman Punches, a Uso Splash, a 1D and a spear.
After the assault, Pearce came out seemingly ready to fire Fatu, but Fatu grabbed a microphone and challenged Reigns to Tribal Combat.
Standing on the stage with the World Heavyweight Championship held high, Reigns accepted the challenge.
Street Fight: Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh tore into one another in a violent Street Fight filled with weapons, crowd brawling and outside interference.
Balor dumped McDonagh out of the ring early and introduced kendo sticks, chairs and tables into the match. McDonagh responded by diving onto Balor through the crowd and later launched himself off a roadcase with a moonsault.
Back at ringside, both men punished each other with repeated weapon shots. Balor drove McDonagh through a table with a shotgun dropkick, but McDonagh survived and answered with a powerbomb and a moonsault.
The match escalated further when Dominik Mysterio ran out to help McDonagh. However, Dominik accidentally hit McDonagh with a 619 after Balor pulled him into position.
Balor capitalised by smashing a garbage can into McDonagh’s head before delivering a Coup De Grace for the victory.
Winner: Finn Balor
Backstage, Seth Rollins confirmed he would compete in his first Raw match in nine months later in the evening.
Rollins directly called out Bron Breakker and challenged him to prove who he really was.
Sol Ruca confronted Becky Lynch after Becky mocked her recent struggles on Raw.
Ruca headed to the ring and publicly challenged Lynch to a match. Becky initially refused to wrestle immediately, but eventually agreed to face Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Ruca hinted she wanted Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship as well, but Lynch rejected the idea of making it a title match, arguing Ruca had not earned that opportunity yet.
The bout was later confirmed as a non-title match.
Six-Man Tornado Tag Team Match: Los Americanos vs. Los Americanos Hermanos & Original El Grande Americano
Chaos erupted in a wild Six-Man Tornado Tag Team Match featuring Los Americanos, Los Americanos Hermanos and the Original El Grande Americano.
Bodies flew all over the arena throughout the match, with moonsaults, German suplexes and constant use of the loaded metal pieces hidden inside the competitors’ masks.
The Original El Grande Americano briefly shifted momentum with double German suplexes and dives to the outside, but Los Americanos eventually regained control.
The finish came after repeated loaded headbutts connected against Bruto Creedo.
Winners: Los Americanos
A sit-down interview aired featuring Ethan Page and Michael Cole ahead of Page’s upcoming Intercontinental Championship clash with Penta.
Page dismissed criticism surrounding his ego and vowed he would become the first man to make Penta afraid.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Paige & Brie Bella vs. Judgment Day
Paige and Brie Bella defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez of Judgment Day.
The challengers controlled much of the match thanks to repeated interference from Liv Morgan. Paige absorbed heavy punishment before finally tagging in Brie, who exploded into the match with clotheslines and Yes Kicks.
Morgan once again attempted to interfere late in the bout, but the referee caught her and ejected her from ringside.
Perez later tried using one of the championship belts as a weapon, but Brie countered with a roll-up to retain the titles.
Winners: Paige & Brie Bella
After the match, Morgan returned and helped Judgment Day attack the champions from behind. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria ran out to make the save and clear the ring.
Outside the arena, cameras briefly caught a tense verbal confrontation between LA Knight and Rollins as Knight was leaving the building.
Oba Femi headed to the ring for his advertised open challenge, but the segment never officially started.
Brock Lesnar suddenly attacked Femi from behind and planted him with three consecutive F5s.
Backstage afterwards, Paul Heyman handed Adam Pearce a signed contract from Lesnar for a WrestleMania 42 rematch against Femi at Clash in Italy.
Heyman claimed Lesnar remained officially retired, but agreed to return for “one more match.”
Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory
The main event saw Rollins finally return to singles action against Austin Theory.
Theory aggressively targeted Rollins’ ankle throughout the match while Logan Paul repeatedly created distractions from ringside.
Rollins fought through the punishment and regained momentum with clotheslines and a sit-out powerbomb, but Theory remained in control for stretches thanks to outside interference.
Paul eventually handed Theory a pair of brass knuckles, but Rollins intercepted him before the weapon could be used. Rollins then knocked Paul off the apron and delivered a Pedigree to Theory for the victory.
Winner: Seth Rollins
The post-match situation quickly descended into complete chaos.
Paul attacked Rollins immediately after the bell, bringing Angelo Dawkins to the ring for the save. Montez Ford followed shortly afterwards, clearly frustrated that Dawkins chose to help Rollins.
Ford wiped out members of The Vision faction with a massive dive to the outside, but moments later, Breakker stormed the ring.
Ford sacrificed himself to absorb a spear intended for Dawkins before Breakker destroyed Dawkins moments later. Rollins attempted to fight back, but Paul tripped him and allowed Breakker to spear him as well.
Adam Pearce and multiple officials flooded ringside to separate everyone as Breakker repeatedly tried to get his hands on Rollins again.
Raw went off the air with security barely containing the chaos and tensions continuing to spiral ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash in Italy.
