WWE Raw took place on Monday night with the World Heavyweight Championship number one contender’s tournament continuing, while Oba Femi and Bron Breakker made their Sunday Night’s Main Event match official.
The show also featured Stephanie Vaquer returning to singles action against Roxanne Perez, Je’Von Evans facing Big Cass and The Usos taking on the unlikely combination of Solo Sikoa and LA Knight in the main event.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcomed viewers before footage recapped the issues involving The Bloodline, Knight, and Sikoa from the previous week’s show.
LA Knight Confronts Solo Sikoa And The Usos
LA Knight opened the show by addressing Roman Reigns, calling the World Heavyweight Champion a coward and questioning why Reigns had continued sending members of his family after him.
Knight acknowledged that Reigns had told him to win the ongoing tournament if he wanted a championship opportunity, but warned that he might have to involve himself in some family business along the way.
Solo Sikoa appeared in the crowd and thanked Knight for helping him the previous week, pointing out that few would have expected the two men to work together two years earlier.
The Usos then interrupted. Jimmy Uso criticised Sikoa for turning against his brothers and hitting Reigns with a Samoan Spike, while Jey Uso warned that there would be consequences.
Sikoa responded by challenging The Usos to face him and Knight later in the night, making the main event official.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez immediately slapped Stephanie Vaquer before retreating to the outside. Vaquer chased her back into the ring, but Perez took control and sent her opponent into the barricade.
Perez continued targeting Vaquer during the commercial break before applying a submission hold. Vaquer escaped by repeatedly driving Perez spine-first into the turnbuckles.
Vaquer began building momentum with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and Devil’s Kiss before adding a Dragon Screw and meteora.
Perez resorted to underhanded tactics when the referee became distracted fixing the ring skirt, raking Vaquer’s eyes before connecting with a Shining Wizard for a near fall.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then became involved, with Morgan tripping Vaquer from the top rope while Rodriguez distracted the referee.
Becky Lynch made her way to ringside, allowing Vaquer to send Morgan into the steel steps. However, Vaquer became distracted staring down Lynch, giving Perez an opportunity to connect with another Shining Wizard.
Perez attempted a moonsault, but Vaquer avoided it and connected with a butterfly backbreaker-lungblower combination to secure the victory.
Winner: Stephanie Vaquer
Following the match, Lynch stared down Vaquer before leaving ringside.
Backstage, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh confronted Rey Mysterio and Je’Von Evans. Evans quickly attacked both members of Judgment Day.
WWE World Heavyweight Title #1 Contendership Tournament Semi-Final Match: Rey Fenix vs. Dragon Lee
Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee exchanged fast-paced offence from the opening bell, with Lee connecting with a single-leg dropkick before Fenix responded with Goodbye Amigo, a crossbody and springboard moonsault.
Lee answered with a tope con hilo before grounding Fenix with a submission hold.
The two exchanged chops following the commercial break before Lee connected with a sit-out powerbomb. Fenix responded with another springboard moonsault, but could not secure the three-count.
Lee then repeatedly drove Fenix’s face into the top turnbuckle before delivering a double stomp while his opponent was hanging upside down from the ropes.
The action moved towards the announce desk, where Lee sent Fenix face-first into the table before hitting a cannonball through the ropes that sent Fenix over the desk.
Back inside the ring, Fenix hit a Brainbuster and Meteora. Lee countered an attempted Mexican Muscle Buster into a roll-up before delivering a Styles Clash for another near fall.
Fenix survived and connected with a cutter and superkick before finally hitting the Mexican Muscle Buster to advance to the tournament final.
Winner: Rey Fenix
Fenix and Lee embraced after the match, with Lee raising his opponent’s hand.
WWE then aired a video promoting Lola Vice’s Raw debut on September 14.
Oba Femi And Bron Breakker Make Sunday Night’s Main Event Match Official
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce introduced Oba Femi for the contract signing, while Paul Heyman introduced Bron Breakker.
Breakker questioned Femi’s claim to being WWE’s future, arguing that winning the 2026 King of the Ring and dominating opponents did not compare to his own accomplishments.
Femi responded that he did not underestimate Breakker. Instead, he argued that Breakker would have been the future of WWE had he arrived in another era, but had the unfortunate task of competing against Femi in 2026.
Breakker promised that Femi would spend the rest of his career remembering him as the man he couldn’t defeat before signing the contract.
He then mocked Femi’s relationship with Heyman, suggesting that Heyman had effectively become Femi’s manager. Breakker blindsided Femi with a forearm when Femi confronted Heyman.
A fight broke out, and Austin Theory came to Breakker’s aid. Femi recovered and sent Theory crashing through the table inside the ring.
Femi then signed the contract and threw it towards Breakker, telling his Sunday Night’s Main Event opponent that he would be running away from him on September 6.
Backstage, Jacob Fatu argued with The Usos. Jey reminded Fatu that he and Jimmy were calling the shots after Reigns handed them their Ula Falas the previous week and ordered Fatu to remain backstage during their main event. Fatu was visibly unhappy with the decision.
Big Cass vs. Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans immediately attacked Big Cass with a superkick and sent him into the ring apron, but Cass responded by clotheslining Evans to the outside and driving him spine-first into the barricade.
Cass continued using his size advantage, connecting with an East River Crossing before throwing Evans into the corner and following with a splash and bodyslam.
Evans fought back by sending Cass outside and diving through the ropes. He later dumped Cass into the timekeeper’s area before launching himself over the barricade to send his opponent crashing into a chair.
Back inside, Evans connected with a kick and clothesline from the top rope.
Evans climbed the ropes again, but Cass pushed him off before connecting with a big boot to secure the victory.
Winner: Big Cass
Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh attacked Evans after the match, with Dominik finishing the assault by connecting with a Frog Splash.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond spoke with Sol Ruca before IYO SKY interrupted to congratulate her. Lyra Valkyria then appeared and attempted to take Ruca’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity.
Ruca refused to surrender the opportunity and told Valkyria to earn her own championship match.
WWE World Heavyweight Title #1 Contendership Tournament Semi-Final Match: Penta vs. La Parka
La Parka started quickly with a hurricanrana, but Penta responded with a superkick and enzuigiri.
Penta intercepted Parka in mid-air with another superkick before delivering a second and following with a backstabber for a near fall.
Parka fought back following the commercial break, connecting with a crossbody from the top rope and a powerslam. Penta kicked out and responded with a dropkick into the corner followed by a modified Bronco Buster.
Parka answered with a Tornado DDT before Penta connected with another superkick and a Penta Driver.
The action continued when Parka delivered a Spanish Fly from the top rope, but Penta responded with a springboard Mexican Destroyer to secure his place in the tournament final.
Winner: Penta
Rey Fenix emerged following the match and entered the ring for a confrontation with his brother.
With the two now scheduled to meet in the tournament final, Fenix and Penta shook hands and touched foreheads in a show of respect.
Backstage, Chad Gable became involved in a verbal confrontation with Ethan Page over Page’s pursuit of an Intercontinental Championship opportunity.
Gable told Page that he had already received his chance and accused him of talking his way out of a championship match rather than doing what he needed to earn another one.
Elsewhere backstage, Jackie Redmond informed Stephanie Vaquer that she will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship in two weeks.
The Usos vs. Solo Sikoa & LA Knight
Jimmy Uso and LA Knight started the main event, with Knight quickly connecting with a clothesline.
Solo Sikoa tagged in and combined with Knight for a double back elbow before hitting Jimmy with a headbutt and several stomps.
Jey Uso later entered and was met with a Hip Attack and headbutt from Sikoa. The Usos eventually isolated Sikoa, repeatedly attacking him in their corner before combining for double-team offence.
Knight received the tag following the commercial break and hit Jimmy with a neckbreaker before knocking Jey from the apron with a clothesline.
Jimmy attempted a roll-up, but Knight escaped and delivered an elbow drop from the middle rope. Jey broke up the resulting pinfall.
The match then descended into chaos when Royce Keys speared Jey and Sikoa through the barricade at ringside, bringing the match to an abrupt end.
Winners: N/A (no contest due to outside interference)
Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM then joined Keys in attacking everyone involved in the match.
Nima and Price beat down The Usos before hitting Knight with a double neckbreaker. Keys followed with a spinebuster to Jimmy.
The assault continued at ringside, with Nima and Price throwing Jey and Sikoa towards Keys, who struck them with the steel ring steps.
Jimmy suffered the worst of the attack when he was sent crashing through the announce desk.
Keys, Nima and Price returned to the ring and stood tall as The Usos, Sikoa and Knight were left laid out around ringside, bringing Raw to a close.
