NWA Powerrr: Wrestling Machines faces Mason and Idol

This episode of NWA Powerrr has a main event of epic proportions as The Wrestling Machines flexed their muscle on the NWA Heavyweight Champion, β€œThrillbilly” Silas Mason last week. Bryan Idol came to his aid, and now they are fixing on putting a monkey wrench in the Machines of Slade and Mike Mondo.

We’ll find out later who is dominant as we come to you from ThePowerrrStation in Tampa, FL. Joe Galli, Tim Storm, and Danny Dealz have the call, and Kyle Davis meets with Odinson and Kratos, and while they no longer have the belts, the Most Feared promises they will earn the belts back.

That brings out the Country Gentlemen, and Papa Joe says they’re going on a European tour, plus Calgary, Guadalajara, and points in between. But he suggests they face a mystery opponent of his choosing, and if they get past them, they will get their rematch.

With that, your First Match of the Night is…

The Immortals (Odinson and Kratos) vs. Jack Valor and Eddie Grayson

We’ve seen this match before, and gods bless these foolish kids wanting to tempt the fate of these Immortals. Hell, even Dealz sums it up with, β€œHoly Overmatched.”

Odinson just lights up Valor with Asgardian uppercuts, and even Grayson tries to get in a (and I use the term loosely) power showdown, but Kratos shows him the folly before launching him across the ring.

Grayson gets a crucifix pin counter for a two-count, but the Most Feared promises pain. Valor and Grayson use their tag team tandem to great effect, but that comes to a screeching halt once Odinson gets the hot tag. That’s when The Gentlemen come out and clock Kratos with the book, allowing Grayson to get the pin and the win.

Your Winners: Jack Valor and Eddy Grayson

That interference causes the Immortals to lose their rematch spot, but ya gotta figure that ain’t gonna stay down like that.

Now for something different, your next match is a royal coronation of…

King Trevor the First vs. β€œBoom Boom” Groom

Murdoch enters with all the pomp and circumstance befit for a king.

Galli says, β€œWe have no kings in America.”, with Storm following with, β€œNo More Kings.”

Yeah, read into that what you will. They said it. I didn’t.

It is an exhibition match, but Murdoch gives this peasant a royal beatdown. A Full Nelson bomb gets him a two count, but his new Kings Landing finisher (a future shock DDT) ends it decisively.

Your Winner: King Trevor the First

After the match, Franks and Knox are there as it Davis to acknowledge β€œYour Highness,” and the King delivers this proclamation:

“Hear ye, hear ye! I, your king, Trevor Murdoch the First, introduce to you my royal court. First, let me introduce to you Sire Tyler Franks. And to my right, Sir Michael, Duke of Knox. This is the Royal Family.”

I’m curious how long his royal authority will last.

The Slimeballz and Wrecking Ball talk to Aron Stevens about the recent acquisition of “Buster” from last week. It’s funny since Buster is the same size and shape as a wreck…

“HollyHood” Haley J vs. Gina Sais Quoi

Haley shows her opponent a little more check than necessary, and The Voodoo Mama takes a bite of the Boujhettoest, and let’s just say it leaves a mark.

Haley lays in a stomp and shows no signs of stopping to put a hurt on her opponent. One Shining Wizard to Sais Quoi gets her a two count. Haley reaches into her tights for some brass buckles, but the ref takes it away from her. That leaves Sais Quoi to blow some black dust into her face and attempt a cover, but she kicks out.

The action spills outside, and she chases after Haley. The ref gets in the way, and as Sais Quoi shoves her away, Haley lays in a power slap, and that’s all she wrote.

Kerry Morton responds to Mason’s taunts, and says he is not worth his time.

Dangerous words, but it’s all fun and game until the beatings come down.

Now for another Carson Drake Experience, and it is Pretty Boy Smooth and Pastor C-Lo as the guests. Obviously, things are already contentious when you talk to Drake. The urban playboy ensures he will face him at the Hard Times signature event, and boy, the time ran out on this podcast.

Drake just seems to have a knack for upsetting people on his podcast.

Mason and Idol come out, and we have a Pier Four brawl on the outside.

Things are coming to bedlam until we get to…

We come back, and Mondo misses a diving head butt on Mason. The bell finally rings, and Big Daddy Thrill is taking Slade to the woodchipper. A tag to Idol, and he goes for the Idolizer, but Mondo puts a stop to that. Slade and Mondo cut the ring in half and take turns making sure Idol’s Looks that Kill are in Peril. He sets Idol up top but pushes Mondo off the top rope and hits a missile dropkick, and then…

Hot tag to Mason and bedlam ensues as The Slimeballz attack Idol on the outside.

Then The Hardway attacks the Slimeballz. Mason manages to nail Mondo with an airplane spin bomb to cover, but the ref is focused on other matters. That brings out Kerry Morton, who punts the champ right in his…err, little Thrillbillies, and Mondo covers for the one, two, and three.,

After the match, Alex Taylor confronts Morton, as Mason stares daggers as the show comes to a close.
