It’s been a while since we saw La Rebelión in action on NWA POWERRR, and they want to get back to their winning ways after dealing with Violent J and the Brothers of Funstruction. Tonight, they face the new tag team of Magic Inc., and Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf want to put an end to their tricks in the National Wrestling Alliance.
We’ll find out later in the Main Event if Magic Jake Dumas and Cody James, but we got a vignette on the history of Vampiro and Violent J:

NWA Women’s Number One Contender Match: Natalia Markova vs. Ruthie Jay vs. Missa Kate
Once the fight gets underway, both Jay and Kate team up on Markova, but she fights back. The numbers game catches up to The Crush as they hit a double suplex along with kick to back by Kate who goes for a cover, but Jay pulls her off and thus ends the partnership. Jay extends a hand and Kate accepts, but then Jay whips her to the ropes and connects with a standing dropkick. Then she lands a Northern Lights suplex to Markova with a bridge to cover, and Kate breaks the ref count. They send Markova out of the ring again and Jay rushes for a Meteora in the corner that misses Kate, and she retaliates with the Kick-Fil-A to cover but gets a two count. Kate follows with a handstand senton and Markova is back to disrupt the count. She lands a neckbreaker to Kate that gets Markova a two count, and a Beautiful Disaster kick to Jay in the corner still gets her another count of two. Kate comes back and gets a waistlock to Markova and throws her into the corner to trip Jay who was perched up the top turnbuckle. Kate climbs and positions for a superplex, and Markova comes back and all three come down in a Tower of Doom. Markova lands a vicious knee strike to Kate but still gets a two count, and then they fire live rounds. they go a kick in the…err, inner thigh region for both women to crumple to the mat. Markova rolls out, but Jay comes down from the top rope with a splash that secures the win.
Your Winner via Pinfall, and New Number One Contender: Ruthie Jay
Sam Leterna is backstage with Jamie Stanley and EC3, but talks to America’s Jawline about his clients, Joe Alonzo and Colby Corino facing each other last week. Stanley explains the fans got the best out of both because of their excellence by association with That Dude and tells her and us to let the “real champs” do their thing, before walking off wearing sunglasses.
As EC3 gets a word in, not only does he rightly point out that guys who wear sunglasses indoors are “a***holes”, he states that he will fight anywhere anytime, any planet, any dimension, and next week on POWERRR he will put up the Ten Pounds of Gold on the line against one-half of The Fixers, Jay Bradley.
We get a recap of Tyrus’ farewell speech after he lost the NWA Heavyweight championship on Night Two of NWA 75. I didn’t get a chance to record it as I was covering the show live, but want to present it here for the first time, in his words:
“EC3 is the man and I fought. Love me or hate me, I’ve loved this business my whole life. I watched The American Dream every night. Gorilla Monsoon was my pretend dad. I’ve loved this sport. The sport doesn’t love me, but that’s what happens with everybody who steps in this ring. I fought like hell. Last thing I wanted to do was let down my family.
Sometimes in this business, whether you like what channel I’m on or not, whenever I came in this building, there was only one thing we talked about, and that was this damn ring. Because there’s nothing better in the world than this damn ring.
I love each and every one of you because I don’t give a **** what some dumbass troll says about me. When this **** right here, these dudes come out here and they support me, that’s all that matters; you fans. That’s all that matters.
(To Kyle Davis) I have loved our games. I loved our interviews. I’ll miss you most of all, Toto.
(to the broadcast table) Tim Storm, Joe, Velvet; best color in the game. The NWA is going through a special place, and I’m glad I got to be a part of it.

(Author’s Opinion: There is a much better post-interview with Tyrus that you should read if you haven’t had the chance. As for whatever feelings you may have of the man personally, politically, or otherwise, and I know I have expressed my concerns publicly and privately…I can say unequivocally Tyrus did business the right way. So, for one last time…’Nuff Said.)

Zyon vs. Double Barrel Boz
Interestingly there is no Idol at ringside, and the newcomer Boz is confident and has fans chanting for him. He gets in some nice arm drags to the masked man, but Zyon then chokes him on the top rope and kicks in his sternum to stop the momentum. Zyon paces himself, stays in control with a snap suplex, and then keeps Boz grounded. He gives Boz a short-arm clothesline followed by a flash fist drop to the head. Then Zyon connects with a rolling neckbreaker variation and then cinches in his Z Clutch submission for the tap-out.

Laterna now talks to Violent J about the feud that has brewed between him and Vampiro. J is no stranger to people giving him the business and he’s taken it over the years, whether it’s his band or something else. But he’s more hurt by betrayal from Vampiro and that needs to be addressed. Violent J promises that he incurred a new debt that will soon be collected.

Laterna currently has Big Stong Mims and Madi on their singles opportunities in the squared circle on NWA POWERRR next week. Madi will face Kamille, and she claims the foundation of The Brickhouse is cracking after losing The Burke and she plans on getting that win. Mims will be in a four-way tournament for the NWA Television title, and when he faces Blake “Bulletproof” Troop, Chris Adonis, and Jordan Clearwater, he has an opportunity to go back for what’s rightfully his and not just survive, but thrive.

Thom Latimer vs. “Spectacular” Rush Freeman (with Rolando Freeman)
Yes, I should do a haiku or a squash recipe, but just to illustrate how fast the match went, Latimer gives The Spectacular arm drags and it’s just a one-sided affair. Freeman tries to get in some offense that only serves to get him madder. and a Blue Thunder bomb gets a two count. Freeman just can’t stop The King of all Evil, and he slams him face-first to the mat and cinches the crossface to mercifully end it.
Your Winner via Submission: Thom Latimer
Laterna has with her Blake “Bulletproof” Troop and Chris Silvio, Esq. Silvio tells “Not May Valentine” (ouch!) that the SVGs are stronger than ever, but Laterna pushes back and inquires why he says that with the absence of Jax Dane. Silvio does not want his name associated with them and calls him weak, unlike Troop. As for the Bulletproof one, he promises during the four-way match next week that it’s gonna be tap, snap, or nap. Lights out.
At the Podium is your NWA Tag Team Champions, Blunt Force Trauma and Aron Stevens. Davis asks about the rematch for the titles with Murdoch or Knox. Stevens tells everyone that Carnage and Damage beat them “clean and pristine,” and tells us after next week, there will be, “No cursing or rehearsing but some nursing” of new wounds suffered at the hands of Blunt Force Trauma.

La Rebelión (Bestia 666 and MechaWolf, with Vampiro) vs. Magic, Inc. (“Magic Jake Dumas and “The Barker” Cody James, with CJ)
As the bell rings, Wolf and Dumas start out, but The Magic Bastard wants to do a card trick for him. As he presents the card, he tosses it in the air and punches his throat.
Ta-da!
Now he tackles the Rebelion member in the corner and whips him to the opposite corner. But Wolf whips him back to the corner and gives an enzugiri kick to his head to rock him. A tag to Bestia and he nails a huracanrana followed by a rope-assisted springboard arm drag. La Rebelión are looking like a well-oiled machine until a spinning neckbreaker stops Wolf and James tags in to get in some offense. Even CJ gets in on the action once the ref’s back is turned, but it’s looking like Mecha is a Wolf in Peril. As Magic Inc. goes for more double-team action, Wolf fights his way out and gives a knee strike to James. He gets hot tag to Bestia and he is a Gremlin en Fuego. It gets a little spotty at the end, but La Rebelión gives side knees to Dumas’s face, but before they can finish him off The Brothers of Funstruction and Violent J come out to distract. Ruffo trips up Bestia on the top rope and Dumas rolls up Wolf and the ref counts his shoulders to the mat for one, two, and three.
