Hey guys!
Magnus vs. Titan
Magnus charged in, but Titan quickly dodged him as the match begun. A crossbody squashed Magnus. Titan tried to stomp his challenger from the top, yet Magnus managed to avoid that by throwing Titan against the turnbuckles, resulting in the man spilling outside. Magnus’ tall frame was fully taken advantage of as he smashed Titan against multiple hard surfaces.
At some point, Magnus ventured to remove Titan’s mask several times now. Almost like a traumatic flash of what Ikuro Kwon has been doing since arriving. Nevertheless, Titan fought back with a body scissor to destabilize Magnus. He nearly pinned him. So, Titan went looking for a submission, however, Magnus grabbed the bottom rope.
Titan found himself at the mercy of Magnus with that Falcon Arrow. Both men were momentarily down. Later on, they were fighting on the apron with harsh strikes to the face. Magnus got the worst of it, but Titan was unsuccessful with a high level stomp. Beautifully, Titan nailed Magnus with a heel kick.
In order to winning, Titan managed to knock Magnus from the rear of his head. Don Gato was left amazed by the performance by clapping on his feet, sharing his prize-made tequila.
Winner: Titan
It seems that whatever nonsensical kurffle was going on with Bishop Dyer’s contract is official since Josh Bishop has taken his place, and Dyer returned to WWE SmackDown last night to put US Champion Trick Williams on notice real quick.
Shotzi (c) vs. Kira – MLW Featherweight Championship match
In the early stages of the match, Kira may lack in seize, she’s able to perform a deep arm drag on her opponent. Regardless, Shotzi has shown that she can do that, too. Shotzi got Kira cornered, then stunned her with a move similar to Rey Mysterio’s 619. A crossbody connected, yet was unsuccessful. Kira retaliated with a suicide dive.
In my opinion, that dive was Kira’s one big shot because Shotzi trampled her in return hard with a Meteora and a thunderous drop kick that nearly took Kira out. She hasn’t moved properly since, except for that comeback by putting a springboard tornado twist that caught Shotzi on the head.
Shotzi fought the best she could, yet Kira turned the tides with a powerful springboard sunset flip powerbomb. Kira went for the 450, Shotzi moved out of dodge and kicked her challenger in the back of the head. Nevertheless, Kira followed Shotzi up the ring. It didn’t matter as Shotzi tossed Kira off and delivered a retaining Senton.
Winner: Shotzi
As soon as the bell rang, both men ran towards each other at a fast pace. Kozone got the better of Okumura despite his early dodging ability. Okumura tried to flip LeBron over, yet the weight of his challenger was too great that he found himself on his back instead. The tide momentarily turned when Okumura went for LeBron’s eyes. Kozone found himself on his knees a few times, but since joining CONTRA, Okumura rarely lost. It was shocking to me to see Shigeo lose.
Because the next match also features CONTRA Unit individuals, such as Kushida, Ikuro Kwon, and Kananga versus CONTRA Mercs of Karl Anderson, Mads Krugger, and Doc Gallows, accompanied by Shotzi. Anderson went after Kwon, Krugger set his sights on Kushida, while Gallows fought with Kananga.
This wasn’t going to be a regular tag match, so there were multiple bodies laid out outside where CONTRA Unit were mostly on their feet. Shotzi looked on in admiration for her fellow companions doing great work of their opponents. Krugger was particularly angry when Kwon led the charge to excommunicate him at Battle Riot and welcomed Kananga to the team, who also took part in the execution, so they almost came face-to-face if Gallows and Anderson hadn’t yanked Kananga off the apron.
Both Karl and Doc attempted to remove Kananga, yet it wasn’t enough. Clearly that BIG man was meant for Krugger to deal with. Everyone kept getting between them, Kwon was one of them. He sprayed Mads in the face with some red mist, so the referee ended the match prematurely. However, that didn’t stop Mads from choke slamming Ikuro down.
It blinded him effectively for Kananga to butcher Krugger with a sidewalk slam. Kananga wanted to use the same spike he previously used to takeout Krugger, luckily, Anderson and Gallows helped. Weird still, the Skyscrapers joined the brawl. Madness erupted and I loved it!
