WWE has filed a new trademark that appears to point toward another upcoming gaming project.
On May 10, World Wrestling Entertainment submitted a trademark application for “WWE Superstar Scramble” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The filing included a wide range of gaming-related categories, suggesting the company may be preparing a project spanning multiple platforms.
According to the filing, the trademark covers video games, computer games, online gaming, mobile gaming, interactive multimedia games, arcade-style gaming machines and television-connected gaming systems.
The broad scope of the application has led to speculation that WWE Superstar Scramble could become a project separate from the main WWE 2K series.
When Did WWE 2K26 Launch?
WWE 2K26 was released on March 13 as the latest entry in the long-running WWE 2K franchise, but the Superstar Scramble filing appears to hint at something potentially geared more toward online, mobile or arcade-style gaming formats.
At this stage, the company has not officially announced the project or revealed any further details. Trademark filings often happen well before public announcements, although not every filing ultimately results in a released product.
