Ilja Dragunov is expected to return to WWE “sooner than later”, according to Bryan Alvarez, after being absent from television since competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WrestleMania 42. No reason has been given for his absence, although Dragunov has remained active by training at Nattie and TJ Wilson‘s Dungeon wrestling facility alongside Leigh Laurel. The former WWE NXT, NXT UK and United States Champion does not yet have a confirmed return date, but his comeback appears to be drawing closer.
The June 22 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix recorded 2.3 million global views and 4.3 million hours watched, making it the show’s second-lowest audience on the streaming service. The go-home episode for Night of Champions was down 100,000 views from the previous week, with its early start time due to the London location and competition from the ongoing World Cup cited as contributing factors. Despite the lower viewership, Raw still ranked fourth globally on Netflix and finished among the top 10 programmes in nine countries, including fifth in the United States.
