The SummerSlam card has come into focus as the WWE King and the Queen of the Ring were crowned today at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
Oba Femi beat Jey Uso to take the men’s crown. He didn’t reveal who he wants to challenge at SummerSlam.
Iyo Sky defeated Liv Morgan and wants to challenge her for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam.
The main event saw Sami Zayn win the WWE Undisputed Championship after 13 years in the company and 24 years since he made his pro wrestling debut for the International Wrestling Syndicate.
Things started to go Zayn’s way when he and Cody fought on the floor. Cody rips apart the English announce table. Zayn slams Cody’s head into it. Zayn clears off the Arabic announce table. Rhodes blocks a Package Piledriver and back drops Zayn from one announce table and through another.
Gunther attacks Cody. His first powerbomb doesn’t put him through the table. A second does. Back in the ring, Gunther slaps on a sleeper hold on Rhodes. Rhodes’ arm is about to drop. Zayn stops that.
Zayn and Gunther trade chops with Rhodes out. Zayn gives Gunther an Exploder Suplex in a corner. Gunther kicks out of a Helluva Kick. Zayn attempts a Helluva Kick on Rhodes. Gunther catches him in a sleeper. Zayn turns things around on Gunther. Rhodes puts Zayn and also Gunther as he is still in a sleeper hold in a Cross Rhodes. A double Cross Rhodes. Rhodes looks for another to put Zayn away. Zayn rolls through to pin Rhodes and become the WWE Undisputed Champion.

Oba Femi versus Jey Uso – King of the Ring Finals
Uso might as well be battling a Mac Truck. His blows have very little effect. Oba whips Uso into corner after corner although his abdomen is smarting after Uso’s dives. Uso does escape a Fall from Grace to kick Femi in the back of the head. Femi stands up from an Uso Splash grabbing Uso by the throat. Oba fights out of a sleeper throwing Uso half-way across the ring. Two running uppercuts and a Fall from Grace for the pin.

Smackdown GM Nick Aldis awards Oba the crown. Oba talks about destiny, etc. The question is who will Oba Femi pick to challenge for a championship at SummerSlam.
Out comes Danhausen. He yammers on about his experiments and “human monies”. Liv Morgan’s music plays.
“Speaking of the Judgment Day, you owe us a whole bunch of money. If you don’t find a way to get it back a lot of bad things are going to happen to you,” says Liv shoving him.
Danhausen replies that he doesn’t know what money she is talking about.
“The only person who is in trouble, trouble, is you Liv Morgan,” says Danhausen before cursing her.
She slaps him in the face.
Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY – Queen of the Ring Finals
Morgan hits a backstabber sending Sky rolling out of the ring. Morgan leaps through the ropes and gets clocked with a haymaker. Sky moonsaults Morgan from the apron on the floor. Back in the ring, Iyo drops Morgan with a backbreaker. Iyo climbs to the top rope. Morgan pushes her off. Iyo lands on the steel steps hurting her leg, knee.
Morgan smashes Iyo knee on the floor. Morgan locks in the half-crab. Iyo escapes. Both women hit each other with haymakers. Iyo runs off the ropes and her knee gives out. Code Breaker off the ropes by Morgan. Iyo kicks out.
Iyo misses a drop kick as her knee buckles again. Iyo pins Morgan with a Spanish Fly off the top rope and an Over The Moon Moonsault.

Bron Breakker versus Seth Rollins – Steel Cage Match
As he makes his ring entrance, Rollins slides a bunch of tables and steel chairs into the ring. He sits on a chair waiting for Bron. Bron enters the ring and takes a seat too. The bell rings and off we go.
Bron Military Presses Rollins into the cage. He then beats him with a kendo stick. A backbreaker on a steel chair. Bron just sends Rollins into the cage like a lawn dart.
No blood. Nothing.
Rollins throws Bron into the cage over and over again after smacking him around with a kendo stick. Rollins throws six steel chairs at Bron. He buries Bron in a mound of chairs. Bron is back to his feet. Frankensteiner onto the steel chairs.
Flying clothesline knocks Rollins out of a chair. Bron spears Rollins. They battle on top of the steel cage. Rollins suplexs Bron from the top rope through a table below. Bron is cut near his eye.
Bron tries to escape through the door. Rollins puts him in a sleeper hold. Bron slams the cage door into Rollins’ head. Rollins dodges Bron’s spear. Bron goes through a table. Pedigree, Stomp and Bron kicks out. Rollins pins Bron with a Stomp off the second ropes.
Michael Cole says that Rollins has finally put The Vision behind him.

Ricky Saints versus Trick Williams (c) – WWE United States Championship Match
Saints attacks Williams from behind. Williams still has his jacket on. The official is distracted by Williams. Saints makes it look like Lil Yachty hit him with the kendo stick he has. The official sends Yachty to the back. Saints takes over the match. Williams finally takes back the momentum. A Bookend for a two count. Williams misses his big kick and gets clotheslined.
Saints counters a Bookend with a kick to the head. Williams blocks the Revolution and pins him with a Trick Shot off the ropes.
Winner: …and still United States Champion, Trick Williams.
Yachty returns to the ring to give a fallen Saints a People’s Elbow Drop.
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s United States championship
Tiffany climbs to the top rope. Michin comes out from under the ring shoving her off. Chelsea Green also comes out from under the ring throwing Michin into the steel steps and B-Fab into the podium holding the title.
Jade pulls Chelsea into the ring by her hair. As the official is concerned with Chelsea, Jade goes for the championship belt. Charlotte grabs it first and clocks her in the head with it. Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

Sami Zayn versus Gunther versus Cody Rhodes (c) – WWE Undisputed Championship Match
Winner: …and new WWE Undisputed Champion, Sami Zayn.
