WWE has updated its official roster page, moving several notable names into the company’s free agent section.
The list now includes AJ Lee, Paige, Nikki Bella, and Brie Bella alongside Danhausen, Oba Femi, and Omos. Lee returned to WWE in September 2025 after nearly a decade away from the company. She initially teamed with her husband, CM Punk, in a feud against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch before beginning a singles rivalry with Lynch over the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Lee defeated Lynch for the title at WWE Elimination Chamber before dropping it back to Lynch at WrestleMania 42 Night One. Following the event, Lee thanked fans and the WWE women’s locker room on social media while teasing a future return. Previous reports indicated her current creative plans had wrapped up for the time being, although WWE reportedly hoped to bring her back for a major event such as SummerSlam.
The Bella Twins & Paige’s WWE Returns
Nikki Bella returned to WWE last year, while Brie Bella officially signed a new deal with the company earlier this year. Nikki suffered a fractured and sprained ankle on SmackDown in March, forcing her out of the planned fatal four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 42.
Paige stepped in as Nikki’s replacement and teamed with Brie to capture the titles in Paige’s first WWE match since 2017. The match marked Paige’s in-ring return following the neck injury that previously forced her into retirement. She had since returned to wrestling in AEW under the name Saraya after receiving medical clearance.
