Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are officially set to meet in Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy on May 31, following another explosive confrontation on WWE Raw.
Jacob Fatu opened Monday’s Raw by calling out Roman Reigns and demanding the World Heavyweight Champion meet him in the ring. Reigns eventually answered the challenge, but unlike previous encounters, he arrived with backup in the form of Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso.
The confrontation quickly turned into a brawl, with Reigns and The Usos eventually overpowering Fatu after repeated superkicks, Superman Punches and a spear left him laid out in the ring. As Reigns and The Usos prepared to leave, Reigns told Adam Pearce to “do what you need to do,” seemingly expecting Fatu to face consequences for his recent actions.
However, Fatu recovered and grabbed a microphone before issuing a challenge for Tribal Combat. Reigns accepted the challenge from the entrance stage, officially setting up the rematch for Clash in Italy in Turin.
Roman Reigns & Jacob Fatu’s Rivalry Intensified At Backlash
The rivalry between the two has intensified in recent weeks following Roman Reigns’ controversial victory over Jacob Fatu at Backlash. Reigns escaped with the win after using an exposed turnbuckle, but Fatu immediately attacked him after the match to continue the feud.
Last week on Raw, Fatu once again stood tall after destroying both Reigns and The Usos, eventually sending all three crashing through a barricade with a massive hip toss.
