Roman Reigns has discussed how long he can keep competing at an elite level in WWE.
After a decade at the top of WWE, Roman Reigns has become one of the biggest stars in the promotion’s history. However, nothing lasts forever, and the OTC believes he is getting closer to the end of his career.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Undisputed at Fanatics Fest, Reigns said he thinks he can continue to perform at an elite level for the next three years.
“I definitely have a few more years in me. It just depends on what the schedule will look like. It depends on what the outside projects look like, but I definitely feel comfortable with three more years of elite level top performance. I’m still in my prime, I still feel very good.”
Roman Reigns Will Make A Decision On His Career In 3 Years
At that point, the current World Heavyweight Champion will re-evaluate, saying he wants to give time back to his family after years of sacrifice.
“It just gets to a point of where do I want to put my attention. I want to spend more time with my children, I want to be able to give back time to my wife that she sacrificed while I chased this dream.
“In three years or so we’ll be able to figure out exactly what I want to do and the variables that make me do that–how’s my body feeling, where am I at spiritually, where are my family and children, what are they doing and what’s the schedule look like for them, so we’ll see. But I still feel good.”
Right now, Roman Reigns will concentrate on his World Heavyweight Title reign. After successfully defending the title against Penta on the September 14th edition of Raw, LA Knight quickly emerged as his next challenger, with a title match set for Money in the Bank on October 10th.
