A major new stipulation has officially been added to the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at WWE Clash in Italy.
During Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns was shown backstage discussing the contract for the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match with Adam Pearce. Reigns explained that while he accepted the Tribal Combat stipulation, he wanted an additional condition included in the agreement. If Jacob Fatu loses in Italy, he will be forced to “serve” Reigns moving forward.
The contract signing later closed the show, with Fatu making an immediate statement by throwing the tables and chairs out of the ring before Reigns arrived. Security stepped between the two men during a tense staredown, but Reigns dismissed everyone from ringside and claimed Fatu would not touch him now that the contract had been signed.
Reigns repeated the stipulation to Fatu and told him he would eventually learn to love the Tribal Chief. Fatu accepted the terms and acknowledged that Reigns had elevated their family to new heights, but insisted it was time for change within The Bloodline.
Jacob Fatu Said Roman Reigns Would Have To ‘Acknowledge’ Him If He Wins At Clash In Paris
Jacob Fatu added that even if he failed to “dog-walk” Roman Reigns at Clash in Italy, he would at least still have a job. He then warned that if he defeats Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, everyone, including Reigns himself, would learn how to acknowledge him.
The segment ended with the two men shaking hands and staring each other down ahead of Sunday’s showdown in Turin.
