Heading into WrestleMania Weekend, NXT Revenge begins a new two-week special. The Stand & Deliver fallout features new NXT Champions Tony D’Angelo and Lola Vice, fending off former opponents at NXT Revenge Week One.
Jaida Parker vs Kehlani Jordan
“No more Mrs. Nice Girl,” Booker T says about Jordan, who’s feigned a mean streak for the past couple of years. After an even opening segment, she controls through picture-in-picture by targeting the left knee. Parker connects with a German as Jordan exposes the turnbuckle, a not-so surprise tool that’ll help her later. The former eventually hits the corner hip drop, and Jordan comes back with a cutter. Parker misses Hipnotic and runs into the aforementioned steel, allowing Jordan to capitalize with a moonsault for victory.
Winner: Kehlani Jordan
Footage from earlier shows Shiloh Hill’s encounter with Ricky Saints, who asks if he’s building a time machine to fix his missing teeth. Hill is instead building something for Tatum Paxley, and Ethan Page interrupts with a proposition. Page asks for Saints’ help tonight, promising to give him the first shot at the NXT Championship.
Sol Ruca narrates an NXT Focus package, recapping the ZaRuca saga. Ruca says she always vouched for Zaria despite her need to feel superior. Next week, she vows to be the last woman standing.
Joe Hendry’s concert reveals his future plans after losing the NXT Championship. He isn’t giving up on the title, but Keanu Carver cuts the concert short. He no-sells a guitar shot to the back and makes Hendry bleed with ground-and-pound shots. Right after, Carver spears him and three security guards through the barricade.
“You’re looking at the man who dethroned ‘The Ruler,’” NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo says in a promo package. “Tonight, I’m gonna smash you [Ethan Page] and your ego to keep it.”
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer congratulates new NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice in the locker room. They wish each other luck, and Vaquer will especially need it in her Fortnite-sponsored WrestleMania match against upcoming Fortnite character Liv Morgan.
Kali Armstrong vs Skylar Raye
Armstrong, the inaugural WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, makes her NXT TV debut. The collegiate track-and-field competitor powers over Raye, hitting the Dougie in between offense. Raye connects with a tornado DDT, but Armstrong turns her inside out with a pounce for victory.
Winner: Kali Armstrong
Robert Stone tells Blake Monroe that Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley agreed to a match next week with an unspecified stipulation. The Vanity Project tries calming her, and Ricky Smokes accuses Stone of making girls sad.
Ethan Page vs Tony D’Angelo (c) – NXT Championship
Ricky Saints doesn’t wait long to appear, but he’s immediately kidnapped under the ring. Shiloh Hill hogties his feet, running away with Page’s frenemy. The challenger controls through picture-in-picture and connects with a running powerslam thereafter. D’Angelo comes back with suplexes and a spear, winning a yay-boo exchange with Forget About It. Page hits a second-rope powerslam and a top-rope splash for two, followed by Ego’s Edge on the belt for another kick-out. Ringside, D’Angelo spears him on the announce desk and heads in-ring with Dead To Rights for victory. “This ain’t over!” Saints says to Hill after break, but he’s occupied with his project for Tatum Paxley.
Winner: Tony D’Angelo
In-ring, North American Champion Myles Borne reflects on defeating Johnny Gargano at Stand & Deliver. He pops Orlando by alluding to Stephanie Vaquer as his favorite dessert, albeit interrupted by the chair shot by Dion Lennox. “Ain’t nobody safe,” Borne says, stealing DarkState’s catchphrase before they appear in the stands. Lennox demands a title match next week, and Borne only accepts if DarkState keeps away. Saquon Shugars refuses to listen to Lennox’s plea, jumping the ring and running into Borne Again for the trouble.
Zaria shares her side in a promo package, actually making Sol Ruca look selfish in the ZaRuca saga. “I would have let the world burn for you, but after everything you’ve done, you will be burning beside it,” she says.
EK Prosper vs Dorian Van Dux – Speed Tournament
“[I’m] here to change NXT’s definition of destruction,” Van Dux says, making his NXT debut. The jacked Belgian hits a dive over the ropes and splash across the ring with scary agility. Prosper comes back with a picturesque springboard moonsault, and Van Dux follows with his own springboard dropkick. Prosper hits a top-rope hurricanrana at the one-minute mark, and Van Dux delivers a springboard cutter. The former escapes a Shooting Star Press, capitalizing with a moonsault for victory. He advances to face Lexis King for the WWE Speed Championship next week, but Van Dux – raising the winner’s hand – makes an incredible showing.
Winner: EK Prosper
Cameras shoot through a window to find Keanu Carver threatening Robert Stone. “Next week, I promise you, it’s going to be his funeral,” Carver says about Joe Hendry.
In an NXT Chronicle package, Kendal Grey credits WWE Evolve and Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair for her growth. She names John Cena as her childhood wrestling hero, who eventually picked her for last year’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Fellow amateur wrestler Julius Creed suggested her transition into professional wrestling, a promising career just starting.
Stone finds Tatum Paxley on some scaffolding, and she announces her stipulation for next week. Shiloh Hill rolls out his hand-made casket, as Paxley defends against Blake Monroe in a casket match.
Additionally, Carver versus Hendry and Borne versus Lennox for the North American Championship is made official for NXT Revenge Week Two. After break, Lennox argues with Saquon Shugars for disobeying orders. “This is our only shot [at getting back on top], so why risk it?” Lennox asks.
Jacy Jayne vs Lola Vice (c) – NXT Women’s Championship
Orlando splits 50-50 for tonight’s main event, and Jayne gains the upper hand when Lainey Reid sacrifices herself. The challenger controls through picture-in-picture until Vice comes back with running hip attacks. Reid distracts again, and Jayne hits a running knee for a two-count. As Vice cinches an armbar over the ropes, Fallon Henley attempts a Tiger Feint Kick and doesn’t connect; Vice awkwardly lets go. The champion kicks out of Rolling Encore, applies a guillotine and eats a right hand from Reid – only to follow through with a spinning backfist to retain.
Winner: Lola Vice
Kali Armstrong pouches through Fatal Influence to stare down Vice. Kendal Grey appears on the opposite side of the apron, and The Culling’s Izzi Dame watches from the podium. Zaria comes in next, blindsided by Sol Ruca at show’s end.
