Nikki Bella has opened up on passing on a recent acting opportunity, revealing that confidence concerns played a key role in her decision.
Speaking on “The Nikki & Brie Show”, Nikki Bella said she declined an audition for a Baywatch project after recognising she would not feel comfortable with the demands of the role. While she did not specify the exact project, the timing points toward the upcoming reboot currently in development.
“I had an audition for Baywatch. I ended up not doing it because I knew that I would not be comfortable… wearing a red swimsuit 24/7,” Bella said. “I am not confident yet in a swimsuit, so I didn’t do it.”
Bella framed the decision as part of understanding where she feels most confident, explaining that she prefers to put herself in situations where she can perform at her best.
“When I’m walking down that ramp and I’m in my Nikki Bella gear, I am so confident,” she added.
Nikki Bella Addressed Comments People Have Made About Her Appearance
Nikki Bella also addressed recent comments about her appearance, noting that criticism no longer carries the same impact as it once had.
“They could say all they want… I just think you have to get to that place where you just are like, this is me. This is my beauty.”
Nikki is currently out of action from WWE with an ankle injury and was unable to compete at WrestleMania 42 as a result. However, the WWE Hall of Famer has said that she is hopeful that she will be cleared to compete in time for Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
