The Vision are once again WWE World Tag Team Champions after defeating The Street Profits on this week’s edition of Raw.
Bron Breakker and Austin Theory captured the titles with the help of outside interference, ending The Street Profits’ reign in controversial fashion.
The closing moments of the match saw Logan Paul attempt to assist The Vision by introducing a pair of brass knuckles. However, the plan initially backfired when The Street Profits gained possession of the weapon.
As Angelo Dawkins prepared to use the brass knuckles on Theory, the referee became distracted. Maxxine Dupri then rushed to ringside and delivered a low blow to Dawkins, allowing Theory to roll him up for the three-count and the championship victory.
Following the match, Dupri celebrated with Theory by embracing and kissing him, officially confirming the pair’s on-screen relationship after months of backstage teases.
Later in the show, Paul Heyman acknowledged the title victory backstage, describing it as a positive first step for The Vision after recent setbacks. As the group left the arena, Otis and Akira Tozawa were shown watching them drive away, hinting at a possible reaction from Dupri’s former Alpha Academy stablemates.
Earlier in the night, Heyman had continued to pile pressure on both Theory and Breakker following several recent defeats. He warned Theory that reclaiming the WWE World Tag Team Championship was essential, after previously blaming him for not knowing Brock Lesnar would return to WWE.
New Undisputed WWE Champion Also Crowned On Last Night’s Raw
Another title change took place last night on Raw, as CM Punk captured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn just nine days after Zayn won the title at Night of Champions.
Punk was a surprise replacement for Cody Rhodes, who was originally scheduled to face Zayn for the title after he defeated Jey Uso on last Friday’s SmackDown. Rhodes was taken out of the match by Gunther, who launched a surprise attack earlier on Raw.
