Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been announced for AEW star Chris Jericho‘s annual Jericho Cruise as speculation continues over their next destination in professional wrestling.
Kofi Kingston, who is being advertised simply as Kofi, and Xavier Woods, now using the name Austin Creed, will appear on the seventh edition of Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea. The cruise will sail from Miami, Florida, to Bimini, Bahamas, from November 7 to November 11, 2026.
The former WWE stars were among several new additions announced for the cruise. AEW’s Harley Cameron, MLW’s Lady Frost and free agent Myla Grace have also joined the lineup.
Other names already confirmed include wrestling legends The Great Muta and “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, alongside current stars such as TNA’s The Hardys and Elayna Black.
Kofi and Creed are believed to have entered free agency around the beginning of August after leaving WWE on May 2. The longtime New Day members opted to depart the company rather than accept restructured contracts that included significant pay cuts.
On July 29, the pair released a video on social media teasing the beginning of their free agency. The video also included a nod to longtime New Day partner Big E, who remains with WWE in a broadcasting role after being forced to retire due to the broken neck he suffered in 2022.
Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods Have Been Linked With An AEW Signing Since Their WWE Departure
Kofi and Creed have subsequently been heavily linked with AEW, although there has been no official confirmation that either man has signed with the promotion.
The expectation remains that the former WWE stars could eventually join AEW and become part of its tag team division, which recently added the Motor City Machine Guns.
The AEW Tag Team Championship is currently held by Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. The champions are scheduled to defend the titles against The Young Bucks at AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium on August 30.
