Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have released a new animated video just one week before becoming free agents, further fuelling speculation about their futures following their WWE departures.
Posted on social media on Wednesday, the animated short, titled Daybreak, was created by artist Jonathan Davenport and follows two unicorns representing Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as they escape from a circus. After using their horns to break through a locked door, the pair transform into animated versions of themselves before walking away into life beyond WWE.
The video does not reveal where the duo are heading next.
A third unicorn, sporting a broken horn, appears to reference former New Day stablemate Big E. The character silently reassures Kingston and Woods that it is okay for them to move on without him. Big E has not competed since suffering a broken neck in 2022 and currently remains with WWE in a broadcasting role.

Kofi Kingston and Xaiver Woods were first reported to be leaving WWE on May 2 after declining requests to restructure their contracts at reduced salaries. Their 90-day non-compete clauses are set to expire during the first week of August, allowing both men to sign elsewhere.
AEW has been widely linked as a potential destination, although neither Kingston nor Woods has publicly confirmed where they intend to continue their careers, and Daybreak offers no indication of their next move.
Woods, who also performed as Austin Creed outside WWE, provided a brief update on his time away from wrestling during a July 21 appearance with Giant Bomb alongside AEW’s Kenny Omega, where they ranked their favourite video games of 2025.
“Taking a full a*** break for the first time in 22 years. It’s been great getting to relax. “It’s summer, kids are out of school, have been going on hella vacations, and are enjoying just existing and sleeping well.”
As one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history, Kingston and Woods are expected to attract significant interest once they officially become free agents next week.
