New details have emerged about the upcoming Hulk Hogan documentary, with the project set to offer a deeper look into his life than previous releases.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, director Bryan Storkel confirmed the Netflix series will be split into four parts, running a total of around four hours and covering the full life and career of Terry Bollea.
Storkel explained that Hulk Hogan’s full participation in the project allowed the team to explore both well-known moments and more personal aspects of his story.
“I think we were able to go a lot deeper than other past projects… there’s so much more in his personal life that we were able to get into that hasn’t been told before,” he said.
The documentary is structured chronologically, beginning with Hogan’s early life and rise through the wrestling territories, before moving into the Hulkamania era and his peak years in WWE. Later episodes will cover his Hollywood run and nWo transformation, before concluding with his post-wrestling life, including personal struggles and controversies.

Storkel also revealed that production was largely completed shortly before Hulk Hogan’s health declined, with the team capturing extensive interview footage and additional material on location.
“We had everything we needed to tell his story… there was just a chance to go shoot a little bit more with him that we never got,” he said.
The series is scheduled to premiere on April 22, 2026, on Netflix, arriving just days after WrestleMania 42 weekend and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, where Hogan is being recognised for his WrestleMania III match with Andre the Giant.
