One WWE Hall of Famer believes that the company is in good hands under Triple H, praising both his in-ring ability and his behind-the-scenes leadership.
Speaking on his ARN podcast, Arn Anderson reflected on his relationship with Triple H during their time together in WWE between 2005 and 2006, describing it as one built on mutual respect.
“Much respect, and I think both ways,” Anderson said. “He would have been perfect for the last half of the ’80s, with his style of work. He wasn’t a guy that just did a bunch of high spots.”
Anderson also believes Triple H could still compete at a high level if he ever decided to return to the ring.
“I imagine he could probably go out and have a hell of a match right now,” he said. “He was very, very talented, had a great grasp of the business.”
The veteran producer and wrestler went on to praise Triple H’s work as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, saying he believes the company has the right person leading its creative direction.
“They got the right guy in charge, my opinion.”
Anderson said, agreeing that Triple H has long shared an appreciation for the style and philosophy of Jim Crockett Promotions.
