Brock Lesnar exacted revenge on Oba Femi at WWE Clash in Italy, defeating the rising star after a brutal battle in which The Beast delivered seven F5s.
The match was a rematch from WrestleMania 42, where Oba Femi shocked the wrestling world by defeating Brock Lesnar in under five minutes. Following that loss, Lesnar left his boots and gloves in the ring, leading many fans to believe he had retired before making a surprise return and targeting Femi in the weeks leading up to Clash in Italy.
Lesnar came out aggressively and immediately looked to overwhelm his rival. After connecting with four consecutive F5s, he attempted to put the match away early, but Femi kicked out. Lesnar then transitioned into a Kimura Lock, only for Femi to power his way free and turn the momentum in his favour.
Femi showcased his remarkable strength throughout the contest, repeatedly lifting and slamming Lesnar while refusing to stay down. The former champion continued to rely on the F5, but even a fifth version of the move was not enough to keep “The Ruler” down for the count.
The action eventually spilled to ringside, where Femi cleared off the announce table and looked to drive Lesnar through it. Instead, Lesnar countered and sent Femi crashing into the ring post before planting him through the announce desk with a sixth F5.
Remarkably, Femi beat the referee’s count and made it back into the ring. He nearly pulled off another upset when he hoisted Lesnar onto his shoulders for a Fall From Grace. However, Lesnar escaped, slipped behind his opponent, and delivered a devastating seventh F5.
This time, Femi had no answer.
Lesnar hooked the leg and scored the three-count, avenging his WrestleMania defeat and re-establishing himself as one of WWE’s most dangerous competitors.
Brock Lesnar & Oba Femi Now Sit At One Win Each
After Brock Lesnar’s win over Oba Femi at Clash in Italy, both men now have one win over each other, and it seems likely that a rubber match will be set up between them in the future. Possibly at SummerSlam, which takes place on August 1 and 2 in Lesnar’s home city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
