Another WWE departure has emerged in the aftermath of WrestleMania 42, with the wrestler confirming their exit from the company via social media.
Carlee Bright revealed the news on social media, stating that her WWE run had quietly come to an end just days earlier.
“Tonight, you’ll see me on Season 3 of WWE LFG… what you won’t see is that just two days ago, my time with WWE has officially come to an end,” she wrote.
Her release was not part of the initial wave of roster cuts, which included names such as Kairi Sane, Aleister Black and Zelina Vega. Bright, whose real name is Kennedy Cummins, signed with WWE following SummerSlam tryouts in 2022 before reporting to the Performance Center later that year. She debuted on NXT Level Up in January 2024 and later transitioned to the main WWE NXT programme.
Reflecting on her departure, Bright admitted the outcome was not what she had envisioned, but said the experience helped shape her.
“This wasn’t how I imagined this chapter ending… but it taught me how to fight through uncertainty,” she wrote.
When Did Carlee Bright’s Last WWE Match Take Place
Carlee Bright’s final match took place on the February 4 episode of WWE EVOLVE, where she had been a regular performer in recent months while also filming for WWE LFG. Despite her release, Bright will still appear throughout Season 3 of the series, which features Kevin Owens, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley and Natalya as coaches.
She is one of multiple names connected to the show affected by recent cuts, but made it clear her wrestling career is far from over.
“This chapter may be closing, but my story is far from finished,” she added.
