Dani Luna is reportedly attracting interest from AEW following her departure from TNA earlier this year. According to Fightful Select, AEW sources said Luna could be signed soon if she hasn’t already agreed to a deal, though nothing has been officially confirmed. Luna requested and received her TNA release in April after joining the company in 2023, where she became a two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion alongside Jody Threat as Spitfire. Will Ospreay publicly posted Luna’s name following news of her departure, while Luna has since competed for Maple Leaf Pro and previously held the Undisputed British Women’s Championship in RevPro.
WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has revealed that she underwent surgery during her recent absence from the ring. Vaquer, who lost the title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 before returning after SummerSlam, told Rueda en el Ring that being unable to train while recovering was one of the hardest experiences of her life. She did not disclose the nature of the surgery but said returning to the ring felt like “coming back to life”. Vaquer had previously been reported to be dealing with ankle and shoulder injuries following WrestleMania.
Netflix has removed its WWE Superstar profile icons, which were introduced around the launch of WWE Raw on the platform in early 2025. The collection included stars and legends such as John Cena, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley and Rey Mysterio, while users who had already selected the WWE icons have reportedly been switched back to standard profile images. Netflix has not explained the change, and WWE programming remains available on the streaming service. Fans have expressed frustration on social media, and it remains unclear whether the WWE icons will return or be replaced with an updated collection.
WWE Raw returned to Netflix’s global top ten with its September 7 episode, drawing 2.6 million worldwide views and 4.5 million hours viewed. The Labor Day edition ranked seventh globally and fifth in the United States, while reaching the top ten in 17 countries. Its 2.6 million views beat Raw’s previous nine-week average of 2.48 million, though total hours watched fell below the 4.75 million average. The episode featured Liv Morgan defending the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer and the beginning of the Money in the Bank qualifying matches.
