Charles Scaggs, known as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk in the squared circle, has been arrested and charged in brutal stabbing.
According to TMZ, Scorpio was working as a security guard at Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City. A man began smoking in the store. Scaggs reminded the man that it was illegal to do so. Scaggs says the man threatened him and they got into a scuffle outside of the store.
Scaggs claims that in self-defense he pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times in the head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen, reports TMZ.
After being arrested and charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action, Scaggs was bonded out. Scaggs has pleaded not guilty and says what he did was in self-defence.
The man involved in the altercation maintains the he thought his cigarette was out and he never threatened Scaggs in any way.
