Promoter denies he cheated former WWE, ECW superstars

Dillon Hines, the promoter of World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling, is refuting allegations that he didn’t pay talent, failed to live up to financial obligations with talent including Rob Van Dam and Sabu.

“At our events, we are happy to be able to say that all talents have always been paid in full for the services rendered, and we’ve always given the fans what they’re promised!” wrote World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling on their official Facebook page.

The statement also reminds critics that the promotion has been working with all manner of talent for 47 years.

“Most people don’t go around dogs known to bite, and most wrestlers don’t work for promoters known to scam. We have been in business since 77, and will continue to be in business for years to come! Talents contact us all of the time wanting to be part of our events, we always welcome them with open arms,” the statement continued. “We are honored to work with Icons, Hall of Famers, Legends, and Superstars from the past, present and future! We are honored to have fundraising events to raise great amounts for the local community, in clubs, schools and organizations, and will continue to help out! Thank you for your support of our events!”.

The Club Hollywood bar posted a statement in defense of Hines.

“Over the past six years, we have had the privilege of collaborating with World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling, specifically with Jimmy (Bobby Fulton) and Dillon Hines, on nearly a dozen occasions. Each engagement has been marked by professionalism and success. Whether we are selling our wrestling merchandise or bringing in our WWE Hall of Fame talent, WCPBTW has consistently exceeded expectations, and we have always been thoroughly satisfied. There has never been a single issue with payment, logistics, or any other aspect of our agreements,” wrote the establishment.

Hines also addressed allegations that he short changed Sonny Onoo.

“Sonny was paid in full once the driver arrived that night as well,” Hines insisted.
