TNA iMPACT: Slaughterhouse syX Match is cinema ‘eh’

This TNA IMPACT Wrestling show kicks off with title matches, with Leon Slater speaking to Trey Miguel ahead of their Bound for Glory title match.  But the main event will have a Slaughterhouse syX match between The Hardys facing Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw that will fright for the ages.

Nothing like getting something scary to start off Halloween weekend right.

As our “Beautiful” Boris Roberto Aguilar is away on assignment, we’re live from the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, AL. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt have the call, and your First Match of the night is for the…

TNA Knockouts Television Championship: M By Elegance (with Heather by Elegance and Mr. Elegance) (c) vs. Jada Stone

Stone attacks and ensures there is no Elegance at the start.

M dumps Stone outside and is in control throughout the match with some outside interference.  Stone fires back and lands a tiger feint kick. She goes up top, but M counters and gets a two-count.
Stone hits a stunner, and M rolls out an Elegance Brand, and they get a moonsault for their troubles.  After some distraction outside, M delivers the finisher to get the pin and win.

Your Winner, and Still TNA Knockouts Television Champion:  M By Elegance

The System is ready to bring the gold back, and Cedric Alexander is confident, despite some rifts between Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson.

There is a moment that TNA spotlights Rebel, who is fighting through terminal ALS.

(Rebel got noticed in this promotion before getting a bigger spotlight in AEW.)

Daria Rae confronts some bald dude appointed by the TNA board to watch over her. He’s an observer, and I observe this is not gonna go well

Back to the ring and the next match is…

Special Agent Zero vs. BDE

BDE strikes away at the much larger member of Order 4, as he takes him in and out of the ring.

Yet Zero’s power ensures all it takes is a double choke slam to put him away.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  Special Agent Zero

After the match, Zero dishes it out to his tag partner Rich Swann and any official stupid enough to enter the ring

Backstage, Ricky Sosa cuts a promo on the upcoming TNA World Cup and how he will be the number one man in the tournament. Fabian Aichner has some thoughts on the matter, and makes sure he expresses it to Sosa ahead of time.

A little promo by Shotzi Blackheart and she wants to prove herself to the TNA Knockouts division.

Hey, I’m all for the chaos this Blackheart can bring

Now for a title match for the…

TNA X Division Championship: Amazing Red (c) vs. Cedric Alexander

It seems like only yesterday Red was battling it out in the X Division.

Ahh, memories (which you probably saw on Darkside of the Ring. But I digress.)

The bell rings, and Red still shows he has no limits in the X Division that he helped establish.

And then…

Ads (Ugh! Can I have a match I’d like to watch that some Monkeys in the Truck™ won’t ruin with a word from some sponsors?!)

We come back, and Alexander nails a DVD for a two-count.

He slows down Red, but he picks up speed as they go back and forth in a hotly contested match.  One Code Red later ends this decisively, and thus…

Your Winner, And Still TNA X-Divison Champion  The Amazing Red

Backstage, Elayna Black questions Heather by Elegance about her title aspirations, as M keeps her dangling.

It’s also time for the TNA Injury Report, as BDE is under evaluation, Mustafa Ali is out of action, and the med staff is bracing for what will happen after the match with The Hardys and the syX tonight (which is quite a reaction)

We get a special look at Indi Hartwell and what she had to do to get to the top to become TNA Knockouts Champion

Nothing like journaling to set out your goals.

Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler come out, and the Queen of Spades challenges Hartwell.

Vincent and Dutch invite Harley Hudson to be as Righteous as them. Dig what they’re saying?

She does, apparently!

Fire N’ Flava are back, and they have words for the TNA iMPACT roster:

Expressions speaks to the Alabama crowd about the best man on the planet which leads to the next match between…

AJ Franci$ (with Expressions) vs. John Skyler (with Mila Moore)

Skyler is in control until the numbers game catches up.  Moore tries to look out for her man but Lois like she twist her ankle crashing down from the apron.

Skyler gets a high DDT for a pin, but the ref is late to make the count because he focused on Moore’s bad ankle.  Skyler admonishes Moore and Franci$ takes care of business.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  AJ Franci$

There’s more dissection in The System ranks, and Bear Bronson challenges Eddie Edwards for control of the group next week.

Some people like Brian Johnson wanna keep a job in TNA, and Rae finds it interesting.

If only all of the corporate world behaved this way.

Or do they?

(I wouldn’t know anymore.  I just changed jobs recently)

TNA World Champion Leon Slater addresses the audience about the sacrifices he and his family have made and how he’s paying it off.

He calls out Trey Miguel because he has a few things to say. He tells Miguel that he appreciates all that he’s done, but he’s still gonna be the champ

Miguel tells Slater that they have a lot in common and how he got abandoned by The Rascalz and had to stand on his own two feet , and he speaks passionately about how he’s gonna do everything u til he claims the TNA World Heavyweight title.

Now it’s time for….

Elijah vs. Ryan Nemeth

I should care, but…nahhh.

Therefore, you get the chance to enjoy this Haiku in Review™ of this match:

*ahem*

Nemeth talks bigly,
Yet Elijah spikes him hard.
Time to walk on, folks.

Your Winner via Pinbfall:  Elijah

Nic Nemeth makes the saves, but he can’t help baby brother with a guitar shot to Ryan’s head.

And finally we get the…

Slaughterhouse syX Match: The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) vs. syX (Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw)

Before I start, I should go into an…

(Author’s Note: Folks, for a cinematic match like this, I cannot cover it like I would a traditional match.  I’ve already given a primer on this, but enjoy what happens below from our good friends at YouTube, and we’ll see ya next week)
