With one more week left till All Out, All Elite Wrestling stops by the Chartway Arena in Norfolk for this week’s Dynamite. A little preview of All Out’s main event as The United Empire takes on Death Riders in Trios action. Generations collide as Jericho takes on the youthful Nick Wayne. All this and more comes your way.
After a recap of what happened on last week, we go backstage with the tag teams champion, Allin and Borden. Cage and Darby confirms that they aren’t fully through with each other before leaving. Cut to their opponents, who also don’t seem to be working all too well.
Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin and Steven Borden vs FTR, Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher
Cope and Fletcher start things off their respective teams exchanging holds. Darby and Cage still showing their hostility to one another. Fletcher’s apron powerbomb to Darby fully swung the momentum in their favour. A hot tag to Borden had him takeout everybody.
Cage’s timely intervention with a chair and combination Coffin-Death drop by Allin and Borden got them their victory. Cage celebrating with Darby’s title is pretty funny actually, never change who you are Christian Cage.

Backstage with the Death Riders as Mox addressees Ospreay and hopes that the champ has learned some lessons from their time together. PAC and Kidd clearly much more irate with Ospreay.
A promo package recaping the full rivalry between the Brawling Birds and Divine Dominion ahead of their Chicago Street Fight at All Out.
Jericho vs Nick Wayne
Wayne being very cocky in his approach for which Jericho is making him pay, which included a Death Valley Driver on the apron. Wayne got things control soon after sending Jericho to the steps and something that definitely looked like it was meant to be a Canadian destroyer.
However, it was Jericho who got the win in the end taking advantage of a Nick Wayne. Jericho offered a hand to a distraught Wayne, he refused and started attacking Jericho afterwards.
Winner: Jericho
Excalibur mentions how Mercedes Mone is not cleared for All Out, but she will be ready for Wrestle Dream on October 17th and that she will face either Willow Nightingale or Thekla there, with a video package accompanying featuring the two potential challengers.
Cut backstage to the United Empire, Ospreay addresses the Death Riders as well as acknowledging El Idolo’s guarented title shot. To end the segment we get a few words from Akira in Italian translated to “let’s kick the sh*t out of the Death Riders!” (allegedly)
Hangman ‘Adam Page’ and Brodido vs The Conglomeration
The crowd is hot as Hangman and KOR kick things off. Some great combination work by Cassidy and O’Reilly to take down Bandido. King tags in but was perplexed with how Cassidy was brushing off his offence. Roddy tags in and exchange some chops but King’s overpowered Roddy.
The action was going thick and fast, at last a Buckshot lariat to Roddy gets the win for the former champions and earn a title shot for All Out against the winners of the next week’s match. Great match, the Trios division has really livened up in recent times, hope it continues like this.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Myles Hawkins
As Ciampa was making entrance, we saw a promo from earlier which saw him call out Okada for the International Championship at All Out.
As for the match, he immediately got the win with the running knee. Nice and Easy.
Winner – Tomasso Ciampa
We are with Tony Schiavone as he introduces the Trios Champions, Swerve Strickland and New Level. On their way to the ring they were attacked by the Demand ahead of their clash next week. Swerve tried to fight back but was unsuccessful.
We cut to Jack Perry backstage of wanting to fight former champions, but says he loves it even though he’s losing bcause he’s learning something. He now then calls out Samoa Joe as we pan out to see “Joe’s gonna kill you” painted on the wall.
Jamie Hayter vs Lena Kross
Kross took the attack to Hayteer not even allowing her to get ready. Alot of kicks and stomps by the former champ before Hayter mounts a comeback, not for long though as Kross takes the control of the match right back.
Hayter constantly looking for counters which were not going the way she wanted it to. Ultimately, a distraction by Bayne allowed Kross to use a pipe, followed by a Jackhammer to get the win. A really hard hitting encounter that reminds you just how good Hayter is.
Winner – Lena Kross
A promo package aired on Andrade El Idolo, before announcing that he will be defending his National Championship against Daniel Garcia on Collision this Saturday.
Backstage, Renee Paquette asks Okada about Ciampa’s challenge. He says he has given ot some thought and calls him a b*tch. Ciampa then blindsides the champion to send a proper message.
United Empire (Ospreay, Akira, El Idolo) vs Death Riders (Mox, PAC, Kidd)
Ospreay and Mox seemingly start of proceedings but a disinterested Mox tags out to Kidd who compensates for any missing aggressiveness from Mox. Death Riders take control of the match by focusing the brunt of their attack on the smaller Akira.
Even though he tagged out, it was still Akira who had to take the loss for his team as Kidd pulls Ospreay out of the ring and PAC keeps Andrade out as Mox drops Akira withtwo Death Rider DDTs, followed by a bulldog choke. Akira has no choice but to tap.
There was no shortage of post match chaos but in the end it was still the Empire who stood tall to wind up the show.
