The wrestling world and WrestleCon honoured superfan Mark Hitchcock with tonight’s tribute show featuring stars from the independents, Dragon Gate, AEW, Progress and others. The main event was an AEW showdown between JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey) and their partner Michael Oku versus The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona).
Knight and Oku got taken out on the floor by Kaun’s unbelievable splash. Liona slams both Knight and Bailey at the same time. Liona catches Oku in midair. Kaun hits a stunner on Oku. Ricochet covers Oku after a splash from the top rope but Knight makes the save. Knight stuns Ricochet with a flying drop kick. Bailey stomps Kaun. He then gets clotheslined by Liona. Knight, Bailey and Oku super kick Liona. Ricochet shoves Bailey into Knight and throws Oku to the floor. Knight hits the diving forearm on Ricochet. Ricochet kicks out of Oku Frog Splash. Oku pits Ricochet on his half-crab. Khan distracts the official claiming his leg is injured. Ricochet taps out but the official, of course, doesn’t see it. Oku thinks he has won and lets go of the hold. Liona head butts Oku. Liona and Kaun set Oku up in the Electric Chair. Ricochet clotheslines Oku off the top rope for the win.

In one of the other featured matches, hardcore legend Masato Tanaka took on AEW’s Mark Davis. The smaller Tanaka had a big hill to climb in Davis. Davis speared Tanaka off the apron to the floor. Davis chopped Tanaka in the throat the momentum making him take a seat in the front row. Davis ran at Tanaka knocking him into the second row. Back in the ring, they traded forearms until Tanaka took David down with a clothesline. They then start throwing haymakers. Tanaka no sells a haymaker to the jaw. He blocks a drop kick and almost pins Davis with his sliding forearm. A clothesline from Davis drops Tanaka and pins him with a piledriver. The crowd booed Davis.
