Its one of the final stops before ALL IN: London as AEW stops by the OVO Hydro for Dynamite, the semi-finals of the Continental Cup, one half of the tag team champions Copeland teams with his challengers the Young Bucks before ALL IN, we hear from both Willow Nightingale and Will Ospreay ahead of their respective World Title clashes on Sunday and much more come your way.
As it is the United Kingdom, Ospreay kick things off with a massive reaction from the crowd. He reminisces about journey that led to him here in this spot, eventually as he got to mentioning Kenny, a mixed reaction with boos and chants of “Kenny”, but the boos got louder when he mentioned the champ isn’t here tonight. A fired up Ospreay says that Kenny is going to help him show his kid that heroes are ordinary people who can do extraordinary things.
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. Claudio
Castagnoli: Continental Cup Semifinal
The fellow Death Riders members looked to take advantage with a test of strength which the Swiss won.
Claudio was giving Mox some trouble as he went outside to catch a breather. Mox looks to take advantage with a figure 4, but Claudio breaks free and
sends him into the stand with the giant swing. Eventually, Moxley looked to end things with a Stomp and a Death Rider only for a two count, sensing the opportunity locked in the Bulldog choke which Claudio couldn’t break out off. These two never disappoint whenever they meet in the ring, lovely stuff.

Adam Copeland & The Young Bucks vs Don Callis Family (Romero, Doyle and Cage)
During the entrances, brief mention by the commentary how Christian refuses to team with the Bucks after what happened at Grand slam: Mexico, so
was this initially 4 on 4? Anyway, Cope and Doyle start the match, some team work by Cope and Matt there. The family took advantage when Cage send Matt to the floor as he stood on the apron. Cope gets the hot tag and the crowd was enjoying it all, in the end a spear by the Rated R Superstar to Rocky gets the win.
Winner – Adam Copeland & The Young Bucks
After the match, Christian came out with a microphone and a war of words ensued. Not for long though as things got physical as Christian was hit by a super kick by Nick after he low bowed Matt and to round things of Cope hit a spear on Nick as the champs stood tall.
We head back to ringside as Willow Nightingale’s music hits, only to find out that she’s been attacked backstage by Mercedes Moné. She tells Willow that is her last Dynamite with that title before she takes everything away.
Still backstage, but with Don Callis now. He addresses Andrade El Idolo and says that Mark Davis will be in the Casino Gauntlet and settle the score with the reigning National Champion.
Back at ringside, Andrade’s music hits…only for it to switch to MJF’s. He says it’s good to be in sunny Ireland (good one). He adds that “Andrew El Idolo” isn’t here tonight because he paid some guys to “warm him up.” Max looked to take a picture like Andrade usually does, but it was he himself snuck up behind and goes after MJF as he escaped up the ramp.
We see Chris Jericho backstage and he announces himself as a part of the Casino Gauntlet. Furthermore, he mentions being part of a trios match on Collision alongside Speedball and Komander to take on Ciampa, Davis and Nick Wayne,
Kyle O’Reilly vs Nigel McGuinness: Continental Cup
Semifinal
Both men exchange some holds to start things off, some good striking action as Nigel hits Kyle with some chops and a headbutt. Kyle blocks this the second time around showing some striking off his own. Nigel starts favouring his ankle which Kyle notices and starts
targeting it. In the end, Nigel is able to get the victory with the London Dungeon as O’Reilly can’t escape and taps out. You’d just assume this match was good and you’d be right actually.
Winner – Nigel McGuinness
Backstage, we hear from Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher. Kyle says he’s willing to “run the play” at All In, but wants to know if Okada is as well. Okada says the most important thing is family and to trust him.
Maya World and Brawling Birds vs Persephone and
Divine Dominion
Maya and Bayne start things and Bayne is showing the power advantage she has against Maya overpowering her. She tags in Lena and later Persephone as they all took the attack to Maya; she later managed to tag in Alex. Kross regains control for her team as she lays into Hayter with some shoulder charges in the corner. The finish would see Persephone pin the TBS Champion with a frog splash. A fun trios match, which also
previewed the Tag title match at ALL IN.
Winners – Persephone and Divine Dominion
A promo package aired focused on the feud between Kevin Knight and Darby Allin ahead of their TNT Title Falls Count Anywhere Match at ALL IN.
Swerve Strickland vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry
Swerve early on continuously mocked Jack to take shots at him, that ended as Jack took control of the match, not for long though as Swerve took that control right back sending him into the corner. Jack starts to fight back, but Swerve blocks a sunset powerbomb from the apron. In the end, Jack looked to lock in the snare trap, unsuccessful. They trade some more offense and Swerve gets the win with Big Pressure. It’s good to have Swerve back in the ring.
Winner – Swerve Strickland
Post match, Swerve offers a helping hand to Jack out of respect.
The show comes to a close with a promo package focused on the rivalry between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay ahead of their World Championship
clash at Wembley Stadium.
