It’s Thursday night, and it’s time for AEW Collision. So you know what that means?
Yes, Chris Silvio is a thin-skinned twit, and he should know that no one wants to deal with the smoke of WrestleMania over the weekend.
I said what I said, and I can’t wait to see how he reacts.
As for tonight, All Elite Wrestling continues its Spring Break Thru in the Pacific Northwest with more action, with Jon Moxley giving local favorite Nick Wayne a chance in a Continental Eliminator match, and Thekla puts up the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Alex Windsor in the main event.
Is this the night the Brawling Bird can take on the Toxic Spider?
We will find out as we come to you (taped) from the Angel of the Winds Arena in Seattle, WA. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Tony Schiavone have the call, and Adam Copeland comes out sporting a black eye after the tag battle he and Cage had at AEW Dynasty. He gets on the mic and acknowledges that things did not go their way, and FTR accomplished their goal in retaining the belt. That said, things aren’t over between them. It’s not about the titles, and they will take their pound of flesh.
"We will take our pound of flesh!"
FTR may have decreed that @RatedRCope + @Christian4Peeps can't challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, but it's about MORE than that to Cope + Cage!

Out comes Harwood and Wheeler with Stokely, but it’s Beretta and Romero who blindside him and now the numbers catch up to Copeland. Relief comes as the Young Bucks come for a Superkick Partay and clear the ring. The Bucks and Copeland show signs of respect as FTR beat a hasty retreat to the back.
FTR enlisted the help of @trentylocks + @azucarroc to beat down @RatedRCope, but he has backup in the @YoungBucks!

With that, Your First Match of the Night is tag team action with…

The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson) vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed)
There is just so much action in this opening bout, it’s like watching pinballs in a multiball session (ask your parents about that reference, kids). At one point, Wentz goes airborne, launching onto Matt and Nick on the outside.
CLASSIC @YoungBucks!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) April 17, 2026
During Picture in Picture, Wentz and Reed cut the ring in half, and Nick is a Buck in Peril. The Rascalz are in control until Matt hits a top rope arm drag/headscissors takedown, and then gets the hot tag to Matt, who is a Buck en Fuego with single stereo suplexes followed by bulldogs in surround sound. They nail the elbow/leg drop in unison, but Reed and Wentz kick out. We see stereo sharpshooters are applied, but they manage to escape the submission. Now all four men are on the attack with high-risk maneuvers, with Reed getting the biggest pop with a cutter from the apron to the floor.
The Rascalz are giving the @YoungBucks ALL of the smoke!

A super ‘rana to Reed and superkicks to Wentz, and the BTE Trigger gets The Bucks a two count. One Meltzer Driver later, and they secure the win.
Try as he might, @ZacharyWentz couldn't escape the @YoungBucks!

Your Winners via Pinfall: The Young Bucks
After the match, The Dogs come out and Findlay and Connors lay out the Bucks, and they make a statement breaking them in half. Findlay gets on the mic, and while they’re down a man, the goal is the same: they want bodies, and they want gold, and everyone is on notice.
"The numbers may change, but the mission stays the same!"
The Dogs have descended to send a violent message to the @YoungBucks, The Rascalz and the ENTIRE tag team division!

As for the trios division, up next is an…

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reily) vs. The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Lee Johnson, and Jay Lethal)
This is supposed to be an opportunity for the Twist to get a future shot at the Triops championship down the road, but really…can ya smell what the squash is cooking?
I sure can.
But I need to practice my skills for WrestleMania, so here is your Squared Circle Clerihew in Review™:
* ahem*
Cassidy, O’Reily, and Strong
Sure don’t take too long
With the Lethal Twist.
And face it, this is a match that isn’t missed.
Your Winners: The Conglomeration
Backstage, Anthony Bowens encounters Hooks and wants to know if he’s in The Opps or out. He assures him he’s the boss and will make a decision next week.

For a man who is the “Pride of Professional Wrestling,” he sure is acting thirsty around The Opps.
Now for Women’s tag action with…
Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida vs. Big Anne and Danika Della Rouge
Former rivals and now convenient partners, Shida and Statlander partner up against the Washington locals. Rouge is more prominent with DEFY Wrestling, and Big Anne has her fans, too. Also, the crowd loves Shida after a long absence from in-ring competition.
This is a one-sided affair as Shida and Stat have their way. Normally, I would find a way to blow past this match, but it is intriguing to see Shida display moments of heelish behavior. The best part is at the end as she loads up for her Katana finisher, but then turns and pats Statlander on the head, for a tag, and Saturday Night Fever ends it.
Now THAT'S teamwork! @ShidaHikaru gives @CallMeKrisStat the final blow!

Now sure what the endgame is gonna be with this pairing, but I am definitely interested in the journey.
The second hour starts, and a familiar air-raid siren signals to the fans your next match, which is a…

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley(c) vs. Nick Wayne
The former DEFY darling gets a hero’s welcome when he goes out to acknowledge the Seattle faithful. It should also be noted that this is the first time Wayne has appeared on AEW programming, as he holds the ROH Television title.
ROH World TV Champion @TheNickWayne heads in to compete in front of a hometown crowd against AEW Continental Champion @JonMoxley in an Eliminator Match!

Both men start with some nice chain wrestling, and then he sends Mox to the ropes. When the ref tells him to separate, Wayne clips him with a forearm to the head and keeps poking the bear. Now the leader of The Death Riders takes the gloves off and starts to take young Wayne to the wood chipper. Wayne showboats again, and Mox goes out of the ring to compose himself.

Once he comes back in, he offers a hand of Sportsmanship. Wayne accepts…and gets. Piledriver for his insolence. During Picture in Picture, Mox continues to dish out such punishment that would qualify as a felony in certain parts of Washington. He then stomps Wayne and tosses him like a rag doll, and bends him in ways no human was meant to experience. He stages a comeback with a dropkick and headbutts Mox, and a standing sliced bread gets a two count. Wayne then gets a dragon suplex and then a cover for a near fall. He keeps the pressure on and hits a moonsault on the outside. He attempts his Wayne’s World finisher, but gets caught in a rear-naked choke, and he rolls through for another count of two. Mox is busted open after a roundhouse kick find the mark on his right temple, and he proceeds to lock in the Bulldog choke, but he can’t get into a good position. Wayne tries with all his might, but a Death Rider finally puts the local hero away.
DEATH RIDER spells the end for @TheNickWayne!

Lexy Nair is backstage with Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada, and she inquires if Takeshita has a shot at the International belt. Callis tries to politick and say The Alpha did not hold up his end of the bargain at the Dynasty PPV, so he does not get to face Okada for the belt. The Rainmaker has other thoughts and wants it, since he is a champion… unlike Takeshita.
After #AEWDynasty, @TheDonCallis tries to shut it down, saying the agreement is off and Konosuke Takeshita won’t face @rainmakerXokada at Double or Nothing!

Now for something WAY different, it’s…

PAC (with Daniel Garcia) vs. “Blackheart” Lio Rush
This is a different iteration of Rush’s “Blackheart” persona, which makes Bálor’s “Demon” visage look dull by comparison. Hell, even PAC isn’t sure what he signed up for, and for that matter, neither am I. All I know is Rush is a step away from uttering, “My Precious.”
The bell rings, and Rush is talking like a madman, and The Bastard takes his time. to lock up. A boot to the head, and Rush stands bolt right up, and PAC backs down.

We get a vignette on Bandido that would be awesome as a Robert Rodriguez spaghetti western.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla(c) vs. Alex Winsdor
The bell rings, and Thekla baits Windsor by running out of the ring. It doesn’t work as the Brawling Bird locks up and sends her to the ropes. Thekla clips her and attempts to follow with a high-risk maneuver. She misses the mark, and Windsor bulldozes Thekla with a clothesline, followed by a vertical suplex, and adds the punctuation with a Russian Legsweep for two.

During Picture in Picture, Thekla stays on offense and chokes her, but the Brawling Bird is not staying down. Windsor still has some fight in her and shoulder tackles the Toxic Spider with a spinning sidewalk slam for two. Then she headbutts Thekla and sits in a deep sharpshooter, but she reaches the ropes to make her release. She counters and cinches her version of the Iron Octopus, but Windsor is too strong and breaks the submission. They both give it their all, yet it is Thekla who tries to use some brass knuckles hidden on her person, but Windsor catches her. She goes for a sunset powerbomb, but Thekla catches her with the weapon and a stomp steals the win in one, two, and three.
