The former Wyatt Sicks members are set to reunite publicly for the first time since their departure from WWE earlier this year.
WrestleCon announced on social media that all five former members of the Wyatt Sicks group will appear together during SummerSlam weekend in Minneapolis. The convention is scheduled to take place from July 31 through August 2.
The reunion will feature Bo Dallas appearing as Taylor Rotunda, Nikki Cross using the Nikki Storm name, Dexter Lumis returning to Samuel Shaw, Erick Rowan wrestling under Erick Redbeard, and Joe Gacy appearing as Joseph Sawyer.
The booking marks the first officially confirmed public appearance involving all five performers together since WWE released the faction following WrestleMania 42 as part of the company’s post-WrestleMania roster cuts on April 24.
The quick reunion has already generated attention online, given how recently the releases occurred, with less than three weeks separating the WWE departures and the WrestleCon announcement.
Dave Meltzer Reported That WWE Believed The Wyatt Sicks Gimmick Had Ran Its Course
Following the group’s release, Dave Meltzer previously reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there was a belief internally within WWE that the Wyatt Sicks concept had reached its creative limit.
According to the report, WWE reportedly felt the Wyatt Sicks act had run its course as a tribute to the late Bray Wyatt and that the gimmick may have restricted the long-term growth of the performers involved.
