Bryan Alvarez says affordability is expected to be one of the major selling points behind WWE’s returning house show tour this summer.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Alvarez reported that WWE’s plan is for the non-televised live events to offer fans a much cheaper alternative compared to current Raw and SmackDown ticket prices.
“The number one thing that I heard was the idea is that these are going to be much more affordable shows,” Alvarez said. “These will be more affordable shows. They’re not going to be TV tapings.”
To highlight the price difference, Alvarez cited a fan message about tickets for an upcoming episode of WWE Raw in Inglewood.
“My buddy Matthew says that tickets to Raw in Inglewood this summer, $460 for lower level, for a Raw show,” Alvarez noted.
WWE recently confirmed the return of its summer house show circuit for 2026, with the tour scheduled to run from July 11 through August 30 across 10 cities. Alvarez added that the return of house shows has reportedly been welcomed by many wrestlers internally, with several talents missing the more relaxed nature of non-televised events.
“A lot of wrestlers really love doing house shows,” Alvarez explained. “You go out there, you have some fun. You have an easy match in front of fans. The people are super into it.”
He also argued that the reduction in regular live events over recent years has negatively impacted the development of wrestlers, particularly for newer main roster talent. According to Alvarez, house shows previously gave wrestlers valuable in-ring experience away from the pressure and strict timing demands of live television.
Bryan Alvarez Says AEW Talents Have Been Affected Similarly To WWE’s Without A House Show Circuit
Bryan Alvarez added that a similar issue has affected AEW, claiming that many performers who debuted in the company’s early years have not significantly improved because they have worked fewer matches overall.
Presale tickets for WWE’s 2026 Summer Tour are scheduled to begin on May 19, with general ticket sales opening on May 20.
