A WWE tag team debuted new personas on last night’s episode of Raw.
Brutus Creed and Julius Creed debuted a new look and identity on WWE Raw this week. During a backstage segment, Chad Gable, appearing as the “Original” El Grande Americano, was shown alongside two masked figures in red, white and blue lucha-style gear. Commentary quickly clarified that the duo were no longer the Creed Brothers, instead being introduced as “Julio and Bruto, Los Americanos Hermanos.”
The newly formed trio later competed in six-man tag action, picking up a win over the opposing Americano group led by Ludwig Kaiser. The finish saw Julio and Bruto take Kaiser out at ringside, allowing Gable to secure the victory with a top-rope headbutt.
The Creed Brothers Teased Their New WWE Gimmicks At AAA
The storyline involving the group began to take shape last week at AAA, when the Creeds, still unmasked at the time, attacked Kaiser during a contract signing segment, putting him through a table. The alliance is built around a shared amateur wrestling background. Gable is a former Olympian, while Julius Creed was an ACC champion at Duke, and Brutus Creed compiled an undefeated collegiate season before his final campaign was cut short.
