A trio of WWE stars is leading the charge to bring back Total Divas.
Total Divas ran for nine seasons on E! Television in the 2010s and gave an insight into the lives of female WWE stars. The show featured the likes of the Bella Twins, Paige, and Nia Jax over the years, as well as Nattie, who was the only star to appear in all nine seasons.
Previously, Nattie has said it’s her dream to bring Total Divas back, and she wants to spearhead a reboot of the show. Nattie isn’t the only star with aspirations of getting Total Divas back on the air, as the Bella Twins have recently revealed there have been conversations about the possibility “for years,” and they have been pushing hard for it to happen.
On the latest edition of the BattleGround Podcast, Nattie says the three women continue to fight for the reality show, and pointed out that some of the rising stats in WWE were inspired to become wrestlers after watching the original run.
“The Bella Twins and myself have never, ever stopped fighting for Total Divas to come back. We want it back more than anything, and we are not taking our foot off the gas on it, so to speak. I love that we are women that are hungry to bring the show back.
“People just love the show. So many women superstars in WWE that are coming in, like Blake Monroe. Gosh, like Izzy Dame, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend. They’re all saying, we wanted to get into WWE because we loved that show, and so you see so many women that were inspired by Total Divas and what we did on that show.
“I was lucky enough, and fortunate enough, to be on that show for all nine seasons. I was the only cast member that was never not on the show, because I was full of a lot of drama too. It’s a show that is extremely special to me, and like I said, the Bellas and I are not taking our foot off the gas because we want the show to happen.”
WWE President Nick Khan Is Open To Bringing Total Divas Back
Continuing, Nattie said that WWE President Nick Khan is supportive of the women and is willing to listen to their ideas about the show.
“I feel like the powers that be, especially Nick Khan, he’s so supportive of us and he’s so collaborative with us. He listens to us, so it’s great. It’s great having a boss that just is like, ‘Okay, you guys want to do something? How is it going to be good? What are we going to do?’
“Again, I’m not saying that we’re there yet, but Nick is somebody that, like I said, we got ideas. He’s willing to listen.”
Now, Nattie is just waiting for an opportunity, and if it comes, she promises Total Divas will be bigger and better than it ever was.
