I had no desire to return to the same spot as we all were when the original Bloodline was active, where everyone was absolutely brainwashed by Roman Reigns, and no one said nothing. Things blew up for a Godforsaken reason, and do we need to review why? Because it seems like some unfortunate souls forgot. Jey was the first to leave and that made the most sense since he endured the majority of the hardships, Sami following close behind demonstrated that he finally realized that he was being made a foul of, and Solo, despite the pathway he’s going in, saw that he could step up as more than an enforcer.
Everyone here came to see that they can be more and/or have more if they don’t attached themselves to Roman anymore. I felt like Jimmy remained under the influence regardless of the past two years where he slightly broke free. I knew that blind devotion wasn’t fully gone. It’s the typical “If you can’t beat them, join them.” sick, repetitive mantra. The only reason I wished I didn’t see this coming is because of one word: family. No matter how awful they treat you, no matter how incorrigible they are, how taking accountability is foreign vocabulary to them, it doesn’t matter. It will never matter because they’re family.
Jey exposed Roman the most, his words were not only impactful, but they reflect so many current venom family dynamics. And for them to reverse like that… obviously, it makes me angry. It’s half warning, half brainwash when they informed Jacob Fatu that Reigns will physically and emotionally break you. They made this man out to be some sort of all-powerful, no mistake entity.. like… what? Fatu gave a cautionary note of his own when he threatened to burn their family tree if the Usos even think of interfering in his title match tomorrow, and I smiled. if they don’t heed this warning, I’m leaving.
While defending her Women’s US Championship against Kiana James, Tiffany Stratton was going for a drop kick, but James held onto the ropes, which resulted in Tiffy landing on her backside. It was kind of embarrassing. During a miscommunatication with Giulia, Kiana has fallen victim to Stratton’s massive offense with a handspring Stunner and the world’s prettiest Moonsault to lose her oppotunity.
I never thought I’d want a match between Damian Priest and Talla Tonga, but here we are with a surprise. Priest wasn’t used to being manhandled like that, yet Talla made things easier for himself with that uppercut as Solo Sikoa watched. The MFTs inserting themselves was a given, it failed a couple of times, though, however, Tonga still managed to get the win. R-Truth wanted to help, but it was Royce Keys’ presense that truly sent the dogs running the other way.
Nowadays, Paul Heyman is everyone’s mouthpiece and somehow, it works. This time, he spoke for Gunther as he challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship at Clash in Italy. “Sooner or later, they all need a wise man.” That was just pretext for Gunther to attempt a sneak attack.
Wade Barrett said something smart; you don’t want to debut and have a pile of loses trailing behind you. Ricky Saints already challenged and lost to Cody Rhodes last week, and now, he’s fighting Matt Cardona. Saints didn’t waste time when he promoted himself very high, but he’s been on the receiving end of multiple attacks by Cardona. I think it was the preservation tactic, letting them exhaust themselves by hurting you and that’s exactly what awarded Ricky the victory.
As the new Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige were making themselves clear that they’ll take on anyone and still hold the gold in the end. Fatal Influence; Fallon Henley, Lainey Reed, and Jacy Jayne, are taking over the blue brand. They won’t just stop at Tag gold, so they expect that Jayne will become WWE Champion soon. They’re appearence was predictable but not menacing. The Irresistible Forces took that cake.
Henley, Reed, and Jayne came out here because they were involved in 6-women Tag Team match against Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss. The reason why Bliss, Flair, and Ripley lost was due to Jade Cargill knocking the hell out of Rhea just as Alexa was reaching for assistance. Jacy delivered the Rolling Encore to secure the victory for her team. “The real story is lurking in the background,” said Barrett as Charlotte rolled back inside the ring to help Alexa, but she got jumped by Michin and B-Fab. Rhea took out B-Fab and Michin with greater ease, but Jade proved to be a tough wall to break as she floored Ripley with a pump kick.
I’m pretty sure that Tama Tonga didn’t expect Royce Keys to plant him with a spinebuster, but Tonga fought back with a flatliner. Just like how Kiana James wanted some “help” from Giulia, Tama was denied due to Sikoa holding Talla back. Tama wanted to do this alone, so Solo gave him that chance. He avoided collision from Royce, yet he got whiplashed by Keys’ huge mass. Tama took the elavated ground, missed and got slammed on his back with a loss. Strangely, Sikoa was recruiting Keys…
And as if things weren’t weird and downright irritating enough, Trick Williams held a… funaral for Gingy… I had no words. Sami said most of it.
