The lineup for tonight’s WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event has been confirmed.
WWE will head to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, tonight for the first-ever Sunday Night’s Main Event, with four matches currently announced for the card.
Cody Rhodes will renew his rivalry with Randy Orton in one of the biggest matches of the night. The former allies have been at odds since Orton returned at SummerSlam and cost Rhodes his Undisputed WWE Championship match against CM Punk.
Another major singles match will see Bron Breakker go one-on-one with Oba Femi. Femi enters the contest following his victory over Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, while Breakker will look to establish himself against another of WWE’s most powerful stars.
WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event Lineup For September 6
United States Champion Baron Corbin will face rapper Lil Yachty in a Five Minute Challenge Match. If Yachty can survive five minutes against Corbin, Trick Williams will earn another opportunity at the United States Championship later that night.
Six-woman tag team action has also been announced, with Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley joining forces against B-Fab, Jade Cargill and Michin.
The match gives Paxley another major opportunity following her move to SmackDown, while Bliss and Flair continue their partnership against Cargill, Michin and B-Fab.
Hip-hop star Quavo is also scheduled to open the show with a performance in his hometown of Atlanta.
WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event will take place on Sunday, September 6, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The announced lineup is as follows:
- Five Minute Challenge Match: Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty
- Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair & Tatum Paxley vs. B-Fab, Jade Cargill & Michin
