WWE is reportedly set to strengthen its roster with several new additions, including two wrestlers expected to join the company in the near future.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is likely to sign more talent, with former NJPW star Hiromu Takahashi and former MLW standout Richard Holliday among those expected to join. Takahashi, who departed NJPW earlier this year, has been linked with WWE since May. Fightful reports that he is expected to join NXT alongside Naraku, formerly known as EVIL in NJPW, and compete under the recently trademarked ring name Nox Raijin.
Former MLW Star Also Expected To Be Signed By WWE
The report also states that Richard Holliday “could be signed soon if he isn’t already.”
The 33-year-old previously received multiple tryouts and was also considered for the Mr. Elegance role in TNA Wrestling.
Holliday made his name in MLW as a member of The Dynasty alongside MJF and Alex Hammerstone. He also made two appearances for AEW in 2024, including a televised loss alongside Alec Price to LFI before being attacked after the match while receiving medical attention. His other appearance came in a dark match defeat to Serpentico.
Fightful added that WWE is also expected to bring in a new referee as part of its latest recruitment drive.
No timetable has been given for when Takahashi or Holliday could make their debuts on the main roster or NXT television.
