A WWE Hall of Famer could be headed back to television soon.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Diamond Dallas Page has recently been discussed internally for a potential appearance on WWE programming. While nothing has been confirmed, the report noted that his name surfaced during creative discussions.
If an appearance does happen, it is expected to be a one-time cameo rather than the start of a regular on-screen role. The 70-year-old wrestling legend has maintained a positive relationship with WWE in recent years and signed a Legends contract with the company in October 2024.
At the time, Page revealed that attending the Bad Blood pay-per-view in Atlanta played a major role in his decision to sign the deal. He also praised Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and spoke highly of the company’s atmosphere under its current leadership.
“I want to thank Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, for a hell of a time,” Page wrote on social media after the event.
Page admitted that, despite having many friends in WWE over the years, he never fully felt welcome by the company during his active wrestling career. He said that changed following his experience at Bad Blood.
“Last night was different,” Page wrote. “When I got home tonight, I signed my Legends deal and sent it in.”
Diamond Dallas Page Was Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame In 2017
Best known for his career in WCW, where he captured the WCW World Heavyweight Title three times, the World TV Title once, the United States Title twice, and the Tag Team Title four times, Page was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2017.
While there is currently no word on when a potential appearance could take place, the latest report suggests that WWE has at least considered bringing the veteran star back to television in some capacity.
