WWE has censored more of their Netflix broadcasts.
This week on Raw, Brock Lesnar was wearing a new shirt which referenced his altercation with Oba Femi last week.
The shirt read and was written as: “Talk sh*t, get hit”.
In the on-demand version of Raw on Netflix the word “sh*t” has been covered over by a solid bar bar and the camera cuts away to not show the shirt.
News of this edit comes on the heels of the WWE blurring and cutting away from Cody Rhodes bleeding on the on-demand version of Smackdown, Bron Breakker’s bleeding during the on-demand version of Night of Champions and a whole host of times that WWE had edited fans chanting “Holy s–t!” to “This is awesome!” chants throughout various WWE programming and events.
WWE broadcasts on Netflix are currently rated TV-PG (Violence, Language) in Canada and the United States.
Under those ratings there is:
Moderate violence, fights, bloodless combat, some injuries.
Infrequent mild to moderate profanity (e.g. “hell,” “damn”; occasional stronger words depending on context)
Mild sexual references, kissing, limited suggestive material
Some scary or intense scenes that may upset younger children
Limited depictions or references to drugs and alcohol.
