Wrestling icon Bill Dundee has passed away. He was 82-years-old.
Conrad Thompson made the announcement on X:

In 2023, his son Jamie revealed that Bill was suffering from late-stage dementia.
Dundee began wrestling in his native Australia before debuting in the USA as “Superstar” Bill Dundee. Dundee would move on from tag team wrestling with his partner George Barnes to become a mainstay in Memphis where he feuded with Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Valiant. He would later team with Lawler in the AWA and captured their tag team titles twice. In the late seventies and early eighties he could be seen teaming with “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel and Jimmy Garvin.
He would later become a manager for the likes of The Barbarian, the MOD Squad and in WCW with Lord Steven Regal. He would leave his managerial days behind him and become a booker in Memphis and other territories.
He retired from in-ring action in 2019, at the age of 75.
Dundee’s son wrestles under the name of Jamie Dundee and Dundee was the father-in-law of Bobby Eaton.
