A new contender has emerged in the race to land one of WWE’s biggest events, WrestleMania 44.
Nashville has officially submitted a bid to host WrestleMania 44 in 2028, marking the first time the city has pushed to bring the show to the area. According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, the proposed deal is valued at $3.5 million alongside tax incentives, placing it among the more significant offers currently under consideration.
WWE has yet to confirm a location for WrestleMania 44. The company is set to hold WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027, leaving 2028 as the next available slot for a United States host city. The previous two editions, WrestleMania 41 and 42, were both staged at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
How Do Cities Become WrestleMania Hosts?
Host cities traditionally submit bids that include financial backing, venue access and additional incentives, reflecting the scale of the event’s economic impact, in order to secure the event in their city. Nashville now joins a growing list of locations vying to secure WrestleMania 44 as WWE continues its evaluation process.
