Will Ospreay believes Austin Creed and Kofi “fit the vibe” of AEW.
At All In London, Kofi and Austin Creed debuted in AEW as The New Level. The pair teamed up with Swerve Strickland to capture the World Trios Championship at the event, and have been a regular feature of AEW TV ever since.
In an interview with Brandon Kravitz, Will Ospreay said he had a positive first impression of both men when he met them for the first time at the show.
“Oh mate, it’s been a joy. Him and [Austin] Creed both, I met them at Wembley, they were both sound guys. Like, super nice. I told them, ‘You fit the vibe. You fit everything that’s going along.'”
Continuing, Ospreay credited Kofi for being willing to help AEW as it continued to grow as a promotion.
“Just the fact that he’s here and he’s like so willing to help and give back to our little promotion that’s just growing and growing. I’m just so happy that they’re a part of the team.”
Will Ospreay Wants To Bring Sports Atmosphere To AEW
Will Ospreay has his own ideas for the direction AEW should go in as it grows. In a recent interview, the Aerial Assassin explained that, as the World Champion, he wants to bring more of a sports atmosphere to the promotion. Part of this would be for him to be in “sports-based stories and matches” as he continues his reign.
