After her tag team match at SummerSlam, Brie Bella was taken to the hospital.
During the Paige, Bellas versus Fatal Influence match, Brie sustained a shoulder injury when she was hurled and canon balled into a set of stairs near the star of the match. Brie continued wrestling the match with one arm but didn’t participate in the post-match Bellas attack on Paige. Nikki did all the damage.
At the press conference after Night One, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque revealed that Brie had been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
“Yeah, no, she’s injured. I don’t have an update yet. She was here, got some treatment here and has been taken to the hospital to get some scans done,” he said.
At the time, Triple H wasn’t sure how serious the injury is.
“I know she hurt her shoulder. It seems pretty bad but I don’t have that answer yet. Hopefully, we will soon and hopefully it won’t be as bad as we thought it was but that’s the nature of the game,” he said.
