Stephanie Vaquer’s former boyfriend, wrestler Rogelio Reyes, known professionally as Cuatrero, has reportedly been found guilty in a domestic violence case involving the WWE star.
According to journalist Antonio Nieto, Rogelio Reyes was found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide and is scheduled to be formally sentenced on May 12. The case dates back to March 2023, when Stephanie Vaquer filed a criminal complaint against Reyes while both were working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. Vaquer accused Reyes of forcing himself on her, choking her and throwing her against a wall. Reyes was arrested later that month, charged, and eventually released pending the continuation of legal proceedings.
Stephanie Vaquer Is Currently Out Of WWE With An Injury
The guilty verdict comes during a difficult period for Stephanie Vaquer professionally, as she is currently sidelined from WWE programming due to a legitimate shoulder injury. Vaquer reportedly suffered a second-degree AC joint sprain following a storyline attack involving Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan on Raw. The injury was incorporated into television to explain her absence and reportedly forced WWE to postpone plans for a programme involving Morgan.
Recent reports have stated that Vaquer is expected to remain out of action for the foreseeable future, though there is hope internally that she could potentially return around WWE SummerSlam later this year.
