Rhea Ripley has made progress in her recovery from knee surgery but has warned fans that she is not yet close to returning to the ring. Ripley, who underwent surgery in August after suffering a torn meniscus, recently revealed that she only began walking again last week and stressed that “walking and wrestling are very different.” She has been out of action since June but remains WWE Women’s Champion, with Chelsea Green currently holding the interim title. Once Ripley is cleared to return, WWE could potentially hold a match to determine an undisputed champion.
Seth Rollins has returned to in-ring action, but WWE reportedly has yet to decide when he will return to television. Rollins recently competed during WWE’s Latin America tour, wrestling in a six-man tag team match in Quito, Ecuador. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, plans were made for Rollins’ television comeback, including a potential appearance at Money in the Bank, but those plans have since changed. WWE is now reportedly waiting for the right time to bring him back to TV. Rollins remains advertised for upcoming live events, including WWE’s tour of Hawaii.
Kurt Angle has withdrawn from this weekend’s Inside The Ropes live shows in London and Glasgow due to an unspecified health issue. The WWE Hall of Famer apologised to fans and confirmed both appearances have been rescheduled for February, with London on February 1 and Glasgow on February 2. Tickets for the original shows will remain valid for the new dates. Inside The Ropes has not yet confirmed whether refunds will be available for fans unable to attend the rescheduled events.
