The lineup for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown has been confirmed.
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown will air live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Friday, September 25. The show will be broadcast on the USA Network in the United States and Netflix internationally.
Three matches have been announced, including the latest qualifiers for the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches.
CM Punk, Finn Balor and Gunther will collide in a Triple Threat Match, with the winner securing their place at Money in the Bank on October 10.
Punk heads into the qualifier after becoming involved in last week’s Undisputed WWE Championship main event between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Meanwhile, Balor and Gunther will both be looking to secure another opportunity to challenge for championship gold.
The final spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will also be decided when Charlotte Flair faces Giulia and Lash Legend.
Giulia and Legend crossed paths backstage on last week’s SmackDown, with Giulia making it clear that she was not intimidated ahead of their Triple Threat Match.
Trick Williams will also put the United States Championship on the line against Baron Corbin inside a Steel Cage.
The two have exchanged the championship during their ongoing rivalry, with Corbin defeating Williams at SummerSlam before Williams regained the title at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has now placed the two rivals inside a Steel Cage as Williams looks to bring their issues to an end.
Williams has already secured his place in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after defeating Randy Orton and Rey Fenix in a qualifier on last week’s SmackDown.
